UPDATE: The game has been suspended and will resume on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET
The Bristol Motor Speedway game between the Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds had an incredible atmosphere. Unfortunately, a second rain delay has dampened the excitement. After the start time was delayed two hours, resulting in one of the starting pitchers being scratched, the game is in another rain delay.
The teams couldn’t even get through the first inning before the delay struck. It’s going to be a long night in Bristol; reports are coming in that the 85,000 fans are running low on concessions already, due to the first delay and massive crowd. We’ll see if this game can get wrapped up tonight.
Betting lines are currently frozen, but the Reds are -258 Moneyline favorites to complete the win on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Braves are +198 underdogs to win.
