It’s been a long road to recovery for Cameron Brink during her second WNBA season. After a 13-month layoff, the young Sparks star is ready to make her season debut on Tuesday. And that means it’s time to get into my favorite Cameron Brink prop bet for this game.
The Sparks are 2.5-point underdogs at home and +120 on the moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook. The total is set at 173 points. Currently, the Sparks are at +200 to make the WNBA playoffs.
This should be an exciting contest. The Sparks, the winners of five straight, have thrust themselves back into the playoff picture. At 11-14, they’re one game behind the eighth seed in the WNBA playoffs, and 1.5 games behind these Aces. A win on Tuesday night would keep the momentum train rolling and significantly change their rest-of-the-season outlook. Brink will play a large part in this stretch run.
It’s unclear how many minutes Brink is in line to play. I’d be shocked if head coach Lynne Roberts gives her anything close to a full workload so soon in her recovery. In her 14 games before the injury in 2024, Brink averaged 23.3 minutes per game; half of that sounds more reasonable.
For that reason, it’s difficult to be in on Cameron Brink for tomorrow’s contest. It’s going to be an emotional return, and great to see her on the court, but don’t expect a ton of production. Oh, and she’s going to be dealing with A’ja Wilson. I’m staying away from her overs in this game.
