Dallas Wings vs. Indiana Fever prediction, pick for Sunday 7/13/25

It’s fair to say that the Dallas Wings and Indiana Fever are both disappointed with their seasons. The winners of the last three No. 1 WNBA Draft picks, they’re hoping to be on the upswing now. That hasn’t been the case.

Indiana sits at 10-10 as it weathers multiple injuries to Caitlin Clark. Despite a breakout year for Aliyah Boston and the usual excellence from Kelsey Mitchell, it hasn’t been able to maintain high-level play. Squarely on the playoff bubble, it would take a wild second half for Indiana to vault into serious contender status.

The Wings are much further away. At 6-15, they’re second in lottery odds for the WNBA draft, and well outside the playoff race. Considering their lack of talent and quality outside of Paige Bueckers, ending up at the top of the 2026 Draft wouldn’t be the worst thing for building this roster. But that doesn’t make the players feel much better.

The Fever are 10-point favorites at home at -550 on the Moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook. The total is set at 175 points. Let’s look at the best bets and predictions for this contest.

Wings vs. Fever Prediction

The last time these two squads faced off, Indiana pulled off a 94-86 victory without Caitlin Clark in the lineup. It was an impressive victory for a team that was down on its luck. With CC back in the lineup, the spread has understandably grown. But I’m not convinced that should be the case.

Caitlin Clark has not looked like herself in the last two games back from injury. The All-Star is 9-for-29 from the floor and needed her teammates to pick her up against the Dream in its previous game. Of course, the Fever can only go as far as Clark can take them. That means they’ll have to let her take her lumps. I expect that the rust she needs to shake off keeps this one closer than expected, even if Indiana pulls off the victory.

Wings vs. Fever Pick

Dallas Wings +10 (-110)

Don’t get me wrong: the Fever are the much better team here. They have multiple All-Stars, a good cast of role players, and an established identity. But things are in flux until Caitlin Clark looks like herself again. Based on the last two games, that could take a while.

It’s also worth noting that Paige Bueckers is reaching a level of unstoppable creation that’s keeping the Wings in more games than they should be. After a 1-11 start, a 6-15 record doesn’t seem so bad. I’m not confident enough in Dallas to pick it outright, but it’s more than capable of hanging around Indiana for a full 40 minutes.
