Wednesday night has a juicy 11-game slate on tap that should feature plenty of fantasy baseball goodness. Even without Coors Field in the mix, some great offensive matchups and friendly environments stand out as strong spots for MLB DFS Stacks this Wednesday night.
In case you’re new to the term, “stacking” is an MLB DFS strategy that supports including multiple players from the same MLB lineup. The plan can pay off big time if you catch the right team in the right spot, since most run-scoring plays produce fantasy points for multiple players. The positive correlation created by successful MLB DFS stacks can vault your entry to the top of the leaderboard. It does put “all your eggs in one basket,” which raises the risk of your lineup, but it’s often worth that added risk to get the higher ceiling. The key to a successful strategy for MLB DFS stacks is finding the right matchup to attack.
With that foundation in place, here are the three spots I like the most for MLB DFS stacks this Wednesday.

1. Boston Red Sox
Wilyer Abreu ($4,800)
Jarren Duran ($4,500)
Trevor Story ($4,300)
Roman Anthony ($4,200)

Like they have been all week, the Red Sox are in an offense-friendly environment, playing against a mashable pitcher, and have been one of the hottest offenses in baseball. Check off all the boxes and stack those Sox again on Wednesday!
In the first two games of the series, the Red Sox have scored 19 runs and over the last two weeks, they lead the MLB with 88 runs scored, a .303 team batting average, and a .378 team wOBA.
They’ll get a great matchup against Antonio Senzatela ($4,500), who is 3-12 in 18 starts with a 6.57 ERA, 5.34 FIP, and 1.90 WHIP. Lefties have smashed against him with a .364 batting average, a .408 wOBA and five home runs. Duran, Abreu and Anthony are all strong outfield plays on that side of the splits.
I highlighted how hot Duran has been in my top MLB DFS targets for the day, and Abreu has also been scalding, averaging 11.9 fantasy points per game over his last 10. Anthony is still settling into the majors but has multiple hits in three of his last five games with a home run and a .429 batting average (9-for-21).
Story has also been extremely productive lately, averaging 16.2 fantasy points over his last 10 games. Since he can slide to either corner infield spot, Toro is a good value way to round out the stack, since he usually hits in the middle of the rest of the options in this list.
2. Athletics

The Athletics crushed five homers and trounced the Braves 10-1 on Tuesday, and they continue to be a good offense to build around when they play at home at offense-friendly Sutter Health Park. At home, they’re averaging 4.5 runs per game with a .333 team wOBA.
On Wednesday, they’ll face Bryce Elder ($6,200), who is only 2-6 in his 14 starts this season with a 5.92 ERA, 5.51 FIP and 1.52 WHIP. Elder has served up 16 homers and a 10.7% barrel rate in his 14 games, including nine homers in 35 1/3 innings on the road. Right-handed hitters have hit 10 homers and have a .390 wOBA against Elder, which puts Rooker and Muncy on the strong side of the splits against him. Muncy has hit safely in eight of his last nine games, going 11-for-32 (.344) with three homers.
Butler homered twice on Tuesday (one inside-the-park), and is another one of my top MLB DFS targets for the day, while I also highlighted Kurtz in my top home run props for the day. Even though he’s a lefty, he has ben hitting the ball so well that I still like him in this matchup.
3. New York Mets

The Mets have a great matchup as long as the weather holds off in Baltimore. The Orioles will give the ball to Tomoyuki Sugano ($6,000), who has given up 23 runs in 22 1/3 innings over his last five starts. He has an 8.87 ERA and 6.98 FIP over his last five starts while giving up a 43.8% hard-hit rate and 18.0% barrel rate. In those five starts, he has given up seven homers as well, and 12 of the 19 homers he has given up this year have been hit by left-handed hitters.
Lefties like Soto and Nimmo are both coming in swinging the bat well. Nimmo is averaging 11.8 fantasy points per game over his last 10 contests, with three doubles and three home runs.
Switch-hitters Lindor and Mauricio will also bat lefty against Sugano. Lindor homered on Tuesday, and always brings a high ceiling with power and speed potential. He has at least nine fantasy points in three straight games and is averaging 15 fantasy points per game over his last six. Mauricio has at least seven fantasy points in three straight, and is averaging 7.9 fantasy points per game over his last 10.
