Saturday night’s main fantasy baseball slate begins at 7:15 p.m. ET and highlights the six games under the lights. Even on a slightly smaller slate, several matchups look extremely fantasy-friendly for offenses, with a few options standing out as strong MLB DFS stacks to consider.
In case you’re new to the term, a “stack” is a fantasy lineup that includes multiple players from the same MLB lineup. The strategy can pay off big time if you catch the right team in the right spot, since most run-scoring plays produce fantasy points for multiple players. Teams that rack up runs create a strong positive correlation between players in the same section of the lineup and usually land several players near the top of the overall leaderboard. Using multiple players from the same lineup in MLB DFS stacks raises the connectedness of your scoring, which increases the ceiling and the risk in any lineup. The key to a successful stack is finding the right matchup to attack.
Here are the three spots I like the most for MLB DFS stacks this Saturday night.

1. Colorado Rockies
Tyler Freeman ($5,000)

The Rockies’ offense hasn’t been great this season, even when they’re boosted by playing at Coors Field. They haven’t been in our MLB DFS stacks very often, but they have tons of affordable upside on Saturday against the visiting White Sox, who will give the ball to Jonathan Cannon ($6,100), who has especially struggled this season on the road, with a 5.16 ERA and 5.11 FIP on the road and eight home runs allowed.
Lefties have done most of the damage against Cannon, which is why I highlighted Moniak in my top home run props of the day and Toglia in my top DFS fantasy plays of the day. Freeman is a great place to start your Rockies stack, since he has taken over as the everyday leadoff hitter and has averaged 9.7 fantasy points over his last 12 games with at least seven fantasy points in four straight contests.
McMahon always brings good power potential at Coors Field, averaging 7.0 fantasy points per game at Coors, with eight of his 12 homers. Ritter has also been a solid value play from the bottom of the Rockies’ order while filling in for the injured Ezequiel Tovar (oblique), who is close to starting his rehab.
2. San Francisco Giants

The Giants are on the road in West Sacramento to take on the Athletics at Sutter Health Park, which isn’t quite Coors Field but is also extremely hitter-friendly. The Giants will take on Luis Severino ($6,700), who has the opposite trend from Cannon this season. Overall, the veteran has pitched pretty well on the road but has struggled at home, where he has a 6.79 ERA, seven home runs allowed and a 4.32 FIP on the season.
Severino has very strong career numbers against Rafael Devers ($4,900), but the rest of the Giants make a good stack against him, led by Adames, who I highlighted in my MLB DFS targets for the day. Right-handed hitters have hit .313 with a .361 wOBA against Severino at home this season, and Adames is joined by Ramos and Fitzgerald on that side of the plate in this stack. Lee and Yastrzemski are lefties, but both have been heating up a little bit at the plate lately. Yaz has averaged 7.3 fantasy points per game over his last 10 with back-to-back games with double-digit fantasy points before getting Friday off against a lefty.
3. Houston Astros

The Astros went off for an impressive 18 runs on Friday night in their series opener against the Dodgers, propelling them to the top of the King of the Diamond promo. They’ll look for an encore performance on Saturday night against opener Shohei Ohtani and long reliever Justin Wrobleski ($6,500). Wrobleski is a young 24-year-old lefty who has a 4.08 ERA and 3.40 FIP in his 35 1/3 innings in the majors this season. He’s been hit even harder in Triple-A, where he has a 5.09 ERA and 5.76 FIP in 40 2/3 innings.
All the players in this stack will face Wrobleski from the right side of the plate, where players have hit .250 with a .292 wOBA against him in his small sample size. I highlighted Altuve and Smith in my top DFS plays for the night slate, and you can stack them with Walker, who absolutely crushes the ball at Dodger Stadium. Over his 43 career games at the venue, he’s hitting a blistering .357 with 20 home runs.
Caratini hit a pair of doubles and a homer on Friday for 32 fantasy points, and he’s averaging 10.9 per game over his last 12 contests with five homers over that span. The 31-year-old switch-hitter is hitting .304 with three homers and a .492 wOBA against lefties this season, and he’s a great way to fill a sometimes tricky catcher spot.
