Saturday afternoon has a massive 10-game fantasy baseball slate, with all 10 games starting just after 4:00 p.m. ET. With 20 teams on the board, it should be an exciting slate with lots of action. While there are a few top starting pitchers on the mound, there are also a few that should be great matchups for MLB stacks. There should be plenty of runs scored and big fantasy days, so let’s find some MLB stacks to build around Saturday afternoon.
In case you’re new to the term, “stacking” is an MLB DFS strategy that uses multiple players from the same team in your fantasy baseball lineup. If the team can take advantage of a favorable matchup, they can stack up production in a hurry, like the Orioles did in their 22-run explosion on Friday. Since most run-scoring plays give fantasy points to more than one player, there can be a strong positive correlation between players in the same section of the lineup. Teams with high-scoring games typically place several players near the top of the overall leaderboard, and using multiple players from the same lineup raises the connectedness of your scoring. While that does increase the risk of a bust, it also can lift your lineup to the top of the leaderboard. The key to a successful stack is finding the right matchup to attack.
Here are the three spots I like the most for MLB stacks this Saturday.

1. Milwaukee Brewers
Christian Yelich ($5,000)
Jackson Chourio ($4,900)
Brice Turang ($4,100)
Sal Frelick ($3,900)
Isaac Collins ($2,900)
The Brewers keep rolling, having won seven of their last eight, and they get another great matchup on Saturday afternoon against the Rockies and Antonio Senzatela ($5,100). Senzatela has a 6.48 ERA and 5.22 FIP this season. He has had a couple of better games lately, but he still has a 1.90 WHIP on the year. Lefties are hitting .368 against him with a .409 wOBA, while righties have hit .333 with a .394 wOBA. Most of his trouble has been at Coors Field, but he has also posted a 5.79 road ERA, getting hit hard on all sides of the splits.
I highlighted Yelich and Collins in my top MLB DFS Targets for the day, and they form the core of the Brewers’ stack while providing great value. Frelick has been hitting leadoff and has multiple hits in five of his last seven games while going 12-for-30 (.400) with seven RBIs and seven runs scored. He has averaged 11 fantasy points per game over that span with double-digit fantasy points in five of those contests.
Turang and Chourio both bring a good ceiling with a blend of power and speed that gives them multiple paths to success. Chourio homered and had two hits on his way to 24 fantasy points on Friday.
2. Tampa Bay Rays

The Rays got off to a fast start on Friday before the Orioles exploded for 22 runs to take the first game of the AL East matchup. They get a great matchup against Zach Eflin ($6,100) in the second game of the set, and I’m stacking up all the Rays’ lefties against Eflin. Overall, Eflin is 6-4 in 11 starts but he has a 5.46 ERA and 5.54 FIP. His main struggles have been against lefties, though, so that’s why I’m leaning so hard in that direction with this stack. Left-handed hitters have hit .333 against him on the year with a .438 wOBA and 13 of the 15 homers he has allowed.
Brandon Lowe, Josh Lowe and Taylor Walls have homered against Eflin in the past. Brandon Lowe has also homered in each of his last two games and enters Saturday with a 14-game hitting streak during which he has gone 23-for-57 (.404) with a pair of doubles, four homers, a 47.9% hard-hit rate and .466 wOBA.
Josh Lowe has averaged 10.1 fantasy points per game over his last 10 games with at least 15 fantasy points in three of his last six. I highlighted Aranda’s hot streak in my home run props for today, and I think Walls is a great bargain way to round out the stack while still getting good pop under $3,000.
3. Toronto Blue Jays

The afternoon looks like it will be good hitting weather at Fenway with the wind blowing out to right field on a hot, humid afternoon. The Jays will be facing Lucas Giolito ($7,500), who has been inconsistent this season but has looked sharper lately. Since Giolito can be locked in, this is a high-risk stack, but the upside is definitely there since the Jays have mashed at Fenway at times in the past. Giolito has a 7.66 ERA and 5.19 FIP at home this year with a 1.97 WHIP. He could turn that around based on his recent road starts, but if not, this will be a good spot for a stack.
Guerrero has been hot lately, as I covered in my top MLB DFS targets, and he always thrives at Fenway. Springer had 22 fantasy points in the series opener and has double-digit fantasy points in four of his last five. Bichette has also been hot, averaging 10 fantasy points in his last 10 games.
As a cheap option to close out the stack, Clement has good upside with three games of double-digit fantasy points in his last six contests. Barger is also always a power threat with a 52.1% hard-hit rate and 13.4% barrel rate. He has hit safely in six of his last eight games with an average exit velocity of 92.7 miles per hour over that span.
