MLB DFS Picks: Three must-start fantasy baseball players for Saturday 6/14/25

The afternoon MLB slate is already in swing this Saturday, but DraftKings offers contests for this evening as well with plenty of opportunity for fantasy baseball fans. There’s just four games on that slate, so the player pool looks smaller than usual, but there’s no need to worry.

We’ve got you covered with three must-start MLB DFS picks to consider for Saturday night.

SP George Kirby, SEA Mariners vs. CLE Guardians, $8,800

There aren’t a ton of options at pitcher today with the smaller slate, but as our own Zach Thompson mentioned earlier today, Kirby looks like a great option. He flashed a sky-high ceiling in his last outing with 42.6 fantasy points on a career-high 14 strikeouts and might finally be shaking off his early-season woes. The matchup against the Guardians also seems solid with Cleveland’s lineup struggling lately at 25th in AVG, 22nd in OPS, and 27th in runs scored over the last 15 days. Kirby should be energized following his most recent performance, and if he really is beginning to round into form, this pick could present a nice option to differentiate from top-priced pitcher Carlos Rodon ($10,600).

OF Aaron Judge, NY Yankees @ BOS Red Sox, $6,600

Everyone will have Judge in their lineups this evening. Given his level of play this season, it’s more likely that leaving him out will hurt your DFS results more than staying with the pack to select him will. Judge’s .390/.485/.780 slash line, 60 RBIs and 26 home runs make him the best player in fantasy baseball this season. He faces Red Sox starter Hunter Dobbins in this rivalry game, and given Dobbins’ recent comments about the Yankees, it feels safe to say Judge will be out looking to do some serious damage. Leave the multi-time MVP out of lineups at your own risk.

3B Manny Machado, SD Padres @ ARI Diamondbacks, $5,000

Call me crazy but I believe Machado is still underpriced for his production. The Padres slugger slashes .319/.379/.506 on the year with 39 RBIs and 10 home runs alongside eight stolen bases. To make matters more appealing, he’s slashing .367/.396/.633 with a 1.029 OPS and four home runs this month. Machado is hot and has the benefit of facing the Diamondbacks’ Zac Gallen and his 5.15 ERA and 1.33 WHIP this evening. With a shaky pitcher on the mound and the benefit of his better split against right-handers tonight, Machado rounds out the must-starts on this slate.
