Breakdown:

Aaron Judge 1+ Home Runs (+175): Judge and the Yankees welcome the Red Sox to the Bronx this weekend and begin the series with a matchup against righty Walker Buehler. Buehler is 4-3 in nine starts and has given up eight home runs in 46 2/3 innings. Judge has seven homers in his last 19 games and is up to 21 dingers on the season. He hasn’t homered in four games, so he seems overdue to go deep. He has a 56.5% hard-hit rate and 17.4% barrel rate over those 19 games, and 14 of his 21 homers have come against right-handed pitchers. Judge has a career total of 29 home runs against the Red Sox in 104 games, including eight in his last 20 matchups against his division rivals from Boston.

Kyle Schwarber 1+ Home Runs (+310): Schwarber is also in a regional rivalry matchup as he and the Phillies visit the Pirates in Pittsburgh. Schwarber will face lefty Bailey Falter, but the public isn’t scared off by the lefty-on-lefty matchup. Schwarber has actually hit 10 of his 19 homers this season off lefties even though he has only 38% of his plate appearances on that side of the split. Schwarber hasn’t homered in seven games for the Phillies, but still has a 58.5% hard-hit rate and 15.7% barrel rate on the season with a 52.6% hard-hit rate over his last seven games without a home run. Lefties have hit .316 against Falter this season in some strong reverse-splits and have two of the six homers he has allowed.

Shohei Ohtani 1+ Home Runs (+230): Ohtani and the Dodgers are in St. Louis on Friday, facing Sonny Gray and the Cardinals to open their road series at Busch Stadium. Ohtani has 11 homers in his last 21 games and is up to 23 long balls on the year. He has 19 of those 23 homers against righties like Gray, and he has homered off Gray in their past meetings while going 1-for-4. Ohtani has a major league-leading 64.2% hard-hit rate on the season and the second-highest average exit velocity of all qualified hitters. He has a tough matchup against Gray, who is typically good against left-handed hitters, but Ohtani still has the potential to deliver the green to this home run prop any time he takes the field.
