DraftKings Sportsbook’s King of the Diamond returns again for Friday evening’s slate! Last week, nearly eight thousand DKSB users won $126 each in bonus bets through the KotD promo. Tonight, we’re running it back one more time to end the month.

How to Play King of the Diamond on DraftKings Sportsbook
King of the Diamond requires bettors to use a token on a pre-game parlay that must include a player to hit a home run. Same Game Parlays (SGP), SGPx and parlays are the eligible bet types. Whichever parlay form a bettor chooses must have 2-5 legs.
Any game that starts before 6 p.m. ET on the slated day will not be eligible for the King of the Diamond promotion. There is not an odds minimum. Unless using a boosted token, the bet minimum is $5.
The King (or kings) of the Diamond is decided based on the highest scoring team of the slated night. For example, suppose the Los Angeles Dodgers are the highest scoring team, and Shohei Ohtani hits a home run. In that case, all bettors who entered Ohtani to hit a home run in their eligible parlay and opted in to the contest will share in a $1 million prize pool.
The player only needs to hit one home run to qualify for a share of the prize pool. For example, if another Dodger hit two home runs and the Dodgers are the high scorers of the night, Ohtani still qualifies as the King of the Diamond. If two or more teams tie for the highest-scoring team, all batters on those teams who hit home runs would qualify. For more on tiebreaker scenarios and eligible bets, refer to this article.
1:10 a.m.
In a crazy turn of events, the Twins score seven combined runs in the ninth and 10th innings vs. the Mariners to win 12-6, and finish the night as the highest scoring team.
Carlos Correa hit a go-ahead two-run homer in the 10th and Minnesota never looked back. Willi Castro and Trevor Larnach both went yard as well in the game, making these three your Kings of the Diamond for Friday’s slate!
11:55 p.m.
We have some major sweats going on. The Nationals are up to nine runs now with two innings to play, while Shohei Ohtani is leading the charge for the Dodgers, cranking his second homer of the night. Los Angeles is now tied with New York 5-5 in the sixth.
10:44 p.m.
Marcus Semien cracks a two-run homer in the eighth inning vs. the Cardinals to give the Rangers 11 runs and tie them with the Blue Jays for the highest total of the night. This means, as of now, Semien, Wyatt Langford, Ernie Clement and Addison Barger are your Kings of the Diamond.
I would not start celebrating yet, however, as there’s tons of fireworks going on in the late games, with the Yankees already posting four runs through two innings vs. the Dodgers and the Nats leading 6-5 over the D’Backs in the third. Stay tuned.
10:00 p.m.
At the turn of the hour, four games are in the ninth inning and the Blue Jays are still easily the top team with 11 runs and two homers. The Rangers are now up to seven, though, and the Nationals just got on the board 2-0 to start the first inning against the Diamondbacks. The Twins/Mariners and Yankees/Dodgers nightcaps begin in just a few short minutes. From here on out, DKN’s own Landon Silinsky and Stan Son take over the King of the Diamond tracker for the rest of the evening.
9:48 p.m.
The Tigers find themselves creeping up the leaderboard with a 5-3 lead in the top of the fifth inning. They might be a challenger to watch as the night continues.
And in the process of typing this update, Jorge Soler slugged a long ball to give the Angels a 4-0 lead. While we appreciate our first home run in half an hour, that game is in the ninth frame and it would be stunning to see Los Angeles catch up for KotD purposes.
9:35 p.m.
The Blue Jays’ lead looks safe for the moment now that four teams have wrapped up their games. The Brewers finish with six runs and beat the Phillies’ two, while the Mets finish with four runs over the Rockies’ two. Five more contests are all in the seventh inning or later, with no team over five runs in any of those.
9:16 p.m.
Yelich isn’t the only batter with multiple bombs in tonight’s slate. Francisco Lindor just belted his second of the contest — and 12th on the season — to center field for a 4-2 lead over the Rockies. The Mets have work to do if they want to catch the Jays, though.
9:10 p.m.
The Blue Jays are padding their KotD lead here in the sixth inning with an Addison Barger home run to hit double-digits in the scoring column. Bo Bichette also knocked an RBI single to make it 11 runs. It’s looking more an more like the Jays will end up as tonight’s winners, but there’s plenty of baseball left on the late slate… and there’s still three innings in this game, too.
9:03 p.m.
Hello again, Christian Yelich! We said earlier that he looks like his vintage self if you squint, but maybe our vision is better than we thought — he just hit his second long ball of the evening, this one 420 feet to right field for his 12th this season. The Brewers now sit second on the KotD leaderboard with six runs, but they’ll need some more scoring in the ninth inning here.
8:54 p.m.
As of now, the Blue Jays remain firmly in first with nine runs as they increase their lead against the A’s. They’re followed by the Rangers, Athletics, and Brewers with five each. However, an unlikely competitor now enters the arena as the Rockies score their second run on a dinger from Sam Hilliard. Could they pull off the upset and go on a hot streak in the King of the Diamond race?
8:42 p.m.
We’ve got another trio homers here! Detroit’s Dillon Dingler hit a two-run shot to give the Tigers four runs on the night.
Hopefully this isn’t a bad omen, but everyone’s favorite soothsayer slugger Nick Castellanos also fired a ball over the outfield fence for his fifth of the year. The Phillies now have two runs, so there’s work to be done if they want to catch up.
Rounding out the trio is the Rangers’ Wyatt Langford with a 390-foot home run to left center, giving Texas five runs… they’re just shy of the Blue Jays’ six, though they’ll have to surpass their AL West rival Athletics’ five runs after Brent Rooker drove in a pair of scores.
8:23 p.m.
The Royals see their first long ball of the night, a massive 442-foot moonshot by Bobby Witt Jr. to bring their deficit down to 2-1. As the video says, what a gorgeous swing from the young star.
The Athletics also hit their second dinger of the evening as Shea Langeliers took a pitch 417 feet over the outfield wall. His team now has three runs and two homers in the fourth inning, keeping them in the running as a team to watch for KotD tonight.
And finally, the Rangers’ struggling offense found a chance to score on a Josh Jung single, giving them one run early on.
8:14 p.m.
A flurry of activity just hit ballparks around the MLB. The Blue Jays’ Ernie Clement hit a 404-foot solo shot to push his team’s lead further before they scored another couple of runs. With a six in the score column, our northern neighbors retake first place on the King of the Diamond leaderboard.
But wait, there’s more! Starling Marte smashed a 432-foot dinger to put the Mets ahead 2-0.
The Tigers also got on the board to start the first inning as Riley Greene went yard for 432 feet, giving Detroit a 2-0 lead in their game.
The Rays also got to Framber Valdez early with a solo shot by Jose Caballero. They take a 1-0 lead over the Astros.
Hang on, there’s one more! Trevor Story mashed a ball 431 feet to score the first two runs for the Red Sox and overtake the Braves.
8:03 p.m.
Double the homers, double the fun! The Brewers vault to the top spot with a three-run shot by Christian Yelich to give them five runs on the evening. If you squint hard enough, it’s almost 2018 again.
As for the other dinger, Matt Chapman gets his 10th of the year for the Giants, lighting the scoreboard up with a 420-foot bomb to left field. That makes the score 2-0 for the Giants.
7:49 p.m.
We have a new leader for highest-scoring team as the Blue Jays get their third run via a George Springer sac fly. The Phillies are now on the board with one run in the bottom of the fourth after a Kyle Schwarber RBI double.
7:39 p.m.
There’s some early action in the Braves/Red Sox matchup as a Matt Olson single gives Atlanta their first run of the night. The Angels also scored their first run on a Jo Adell single.
Back in the Athletics/Blue Jays contest, Toronto also hung their first runs on the scoreboard with a Myles Straw single and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. walk to take a 2-1 lead. It’s still very early in the evening, but the Blue Jays now take the top of the KotD leaderboard with two runs, tying them with the Orioles.
7:26 p.m.
First-inning fireworks are in style, apparently. Tyler Soderstrom just hit a ball 404 feet for his 11th homer of the season to give the A’s a 1-0 lead.
7:19 p.m.
There’s our first homer of the night courtesy of the Mets’ Francisco Lindor! A 359-foot solo shot puts New York on the board.
6:54 p.m.
The Brewers just started their game against the Phillies with a couple of runs, jumping to a quick 2-0 lead with RBIs by William Contreras and Sal Frelick in the top of the first. The White Sox are also on the board with their first run in the top of the ninth, but no homer here as Andrew Benintendi doubled to send a runner home.
6:07 p.m. EST
The Orioles finally put a couple of runs on the scoreboard with a 2-0 lead thanks to a Ramon Urias sacrifice fly and Ryan Mountcastle’s effort to steal home. No home runs yet in this one, but the O’s are the very early leaders in the King of the Diamond clubhouse. With how they’ve played lately, though, it’s unlikely to last.
6 p.m. EST update:
As mentioned below, the Orioles/White Sox game (originally scheduled for after the 6 p.m. KotD start time) was moved up a couple hours due to weather issues in Baltimore. As the rest of the league gears up for their respective matchups, the score in this contest sits deadlocked at 0-0 in the bottom of the sixth. Stay tuned as the remainder of the slate gets rolling shortly!
