The Los Angeles Dodgers smashed the A’s for 19 runs on Thursday night and come into the Freeway series with a 29-15 record on the season. They are tied with the Tigers for the best record in MLB, and they’ll look to stay hot as they face the crosstown Angels. Superstar Shohei Ohtani will be facing his former team, and he comes into the matchup riding an impressive hot streak.

The Dodgers host the Angels at 10:10 p.m. ET. The home team is heavily favored at -310 on the moneyline with a game total of 9.5 combined runs.

Here’s the top Ohtani prop bet for the West Coast action.

Shohei Ohtani 4+ Hits + Runs + RBI (+140)

Ohtani crushed a pair of homers on Thursday night, going 2-for-6 with a total of 10 hits, runs and RBI. He had five hits, runs and RBI the previous night and has gone over this total in four of the last six games.

If Ohtani hits a home run, he could go over this number in one swing or get close if it’s a solo shot. I highlighted him in my top home run props on Friday, but there are even more ways for him to produce the over in this prop than just going yard.

In his last 18 games, Ohtani has an incredible 77.4% hard-hit rate with a 35.8% barrel rate with over 1.0 barrel per game and an average exit velocity of 100.3 miles per hour. He continues to produce plenty of chances to pile up hits, runs and RBI from the top of the batting order.

If the Dodgers are able to score plenty of runs in Friday’s matchup, it should give Ohtani a chance to get over this line. The team has a great matchup against Jack Kochanowicz, who has a 5.23 ERA, 5.56 FIP and 1.49 WHIP in his eight starts this season. He has give up seven home runs and a 46.1% hard-hit rate, and much of that damage has been done by lefties, including six of his seven homers allowed.

The Angels could opt to try to avoid Ohtani altogether this series. He has racked up 19 walks in his last 16 games. For his walk props, Ohtani is -145 to get a free pass, but +400 to receive two free passes. You can hedge your hits, runs and RBI over pick with a walk pick in case Kochanowicz just pitches around Ohtani in Friday’s matchup
