All 30 Major League Baseball teams are in action on Tuesday night, with matchups all across the country. The Guardians and Nationals play a doubleheader after being rained out Monday, and there are more potential weather issues on Tuesday, especially in New York and in Denver. Looking at the 30 probable pitchers taking the mound, check out my top three starting pitcher prop bets from Tuesday night’s action, including plays from Nathan Eovaldi, Colin Rea, and Pablo Lopez.

Best Starting Pitcher Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Pablo Lopez over 5.5 strikeouts (-145)
Lopez has only made five starts this season after spending 15 days on the injured list with a strained in his right hamstring, but he has looked good in his two starts since returning.
He threw five innings with six strikeouts against the Angels to get a win in his first start after his time on the IL, and he was also sharp in his last outing, working into the seventh inning against the Guardians and finishing with six strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings. He took a tough-luck loss after the bullpen allowed his inherited runners to come around.
While I like Lopez to record a win at +135, I think this is a better play since I don’t fully trust the Twins’ offense, which has struggled throughout the season.
The Orioles have the third-highest K% in Major League Baseball this season, and the second-highest over the last two weeks. Since he has gone over this mark in each of his two starts since returning, I’m including him to get at least six strikeouts in my starting pitcher prop bets for Tuesday.
Colin Rea to record a win (+155)
Rea has been very good for the Cubs this season, and he has been especially effective at home. I highlighted Rea as my top value starting pitcher pick of the day.
Rea has an impressive 1.46 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and 21 strikeouts in his 24 2/3 innings overall on the season. He has won each of his last two outings at home against the Phillies and on the road in Pittsburgh.
With the Cubs’ surging offense backing him up, I love getting Rea in my starting pitcher prop bets at over +150 to beat the Giants on Tuesday night in Chicago. He’s going against Justin Verlander ($7,500), but Verlander is 0-2 with a 4.62 ERA, so he hasn’t been unbeatable or unhittable in his first year in San Francisco.
Starting Pitcher Race to 3 Strikeouts (Both Pitchers Must Start): Nathan Eovaldi over Lucas Giolito (+110)
The Rangers are in Boston at Fenway Park, and Nathan Eovaldi will get the ball against his former team for the second time this year. He’ll go up against Lucas Giolito, and for the last of my three starting pitcher prop bets on Monday, I’m backing Nasty Nate to get three strikeouts before Giolito does.
Eovaldi has 46 strikeouts in his 42 2/3 innings this season, including at least seven strikeouts in each of his last three outings. He also had a season-high nine strikeouts in six innings when he faced the Red Sox earlier this season. He could get some extra juice from playing at Fenway too, where he starred for the Sox and is still a fan favorite.
Giolito looked good in his first start of the season, picking up seven strikeouts in six innings against the Blue Jays. In his five minor league starts, he had 17 strikeouts in 17 1/3 innings but posted a 5.19 ERA.
Both teams have similar strikeout rates, so the only reason Eovaldi is at plus odds is that he is pitching for the visitor (meaning Giolito gets to pitch each half-inning first). Since he has more of a track record, I think Eovaldi will overcome that advantage and win this race to three strikeouts at plus money on Tuesday.
