Kyle Schwarber More Than 0.5 Home Runs
Kyle Schwarber has been one of the best power hitters in baseball over the past few seasons. He is already off to a great start to this season, as he already has nine home runs, just one behind the MLB lead. Two of those home runs have come in his past three games, so he is also in great form over the past week. Tonight, he has a good matchup against Arizona’s Merrill Kelly. Schwarber has had good career success with the long ball against Kelly, with two home runs in 13 career at-bats against Kelly. Kelly was shaky in his last start against Atlanta, giving up two home runs to the Braves. He also got shelled by the Yankees earlier this season, giving up three home runs on the road against New York. Schwarber is hitting well this season, and it’s worth a shot on him to hit a home run tonight against a pitcher that he has hit multiple home runs off of in the past.
Francisco Lindor More Than 1.5 Total Bases
The Mets are tied for the most wins in baseball so far this season, and it is partially due to Francisco Lindor staying at the top of his game. Last season, Lindor finished second in the NL MVP race, and he is right back at that level to start this season. Over his past 26 games, Lindor is batting .337 with 14 RBIs and 21 runs scored. Lindor will also be happy to see the right-handed Sonny Gray in St. Louis tonight. Lindor has a 120 tOPS+ against right-handed starters this season, much better than he has been against lefties. Specifically against Gray, he has hit three home runs in his career, so he should feel confident heading into this matchup. Lindor can hit this prop in different ways, either with an extra-base hit or multiple singles. The Cardinals also have the seventh-worst bullpen ERA in baseball this season, so Lindor should have a good chance to get another hit once Gray leaves the game if he needs it.
Michael Conforto More Than 0.5 Hits
Michael Conforto had a really strong start to the season, but has cooled off in recent weeks. The Dodgers need him to get back on track in this big series against Atlanta, and this is a good game to do so. Conforto has always been better against right-handed pitching, with a career tOPS+ of 108 against righties in his career. He has also been solid against Atlanta’s starter tonight, Grant Holmes, in his career. He has gotten on base in all six career plate appearances against Holmes. Holmes is also lacking confidence heading into this start. He gave up six runs in his last start against the Diamondbacks and should be afraid of this Dodgers lineup. While Conforto isn’t the most feared player in this lineup, he has had great career success against Holmes and should get some good pitches to hit due to the monster bats around him in the lineup.
Mitchell Parker Less Than 4.5 Strikeouts Thrown
Mitchell Parker got shelled in his last start against the Mets. He gave up six earned runs against New York, making it through just five innings. Prior to that start, he had been mostly solid in terms of limiting runs, but he hasn’t struck out a lot of batters. He is averaging just 4.8 strikeouts per nine innings, compared to the 7.9 strikeouts per nine he averaged last season. He is averaging just 3.3 strikeouts per start across his six starts this season. Tonight, he has to face a Reds lineup, which is in great form at the moment. The Reds are 5th in the MLB in runs this season and should be able to get runners on base against Parker. If they can rack up a few runs, they should force Parker out of the game early and limit strikeouts, which he ha already struggled to generate this season.
Cedric Mullins More Than 1.5 Total Bases
Cedric Mullins is having a solid 2025 season so far, slashing .278/.412/.516. He has an OPS of .927 and should be able to keep that momentum going in this game against the Royals. He has always been better against right-handed pitching in his career, with a tOPS+ of 110, compared to his career tOPS+ of 75 against left-handed pitchers. Mullins has also been much better in Baltimore this season, with a 123 tOPS+ when playing at home. Specifically against Michael Wacha, Mullins has been great in his career. He has 23 career at-bats against Wacha and is slashing .391/.417/.826. He has five extra-base hits against Wacha and should be able to get over 1.5 total bases in this game. Mullins could easily get over this number on one swing against Wacha, but could also achieve it by getting multiple singles over the course of the game.
Anthony Volpe More Than 0.5 Runs Batted In
Anthony Volpe is having a solid start to his season and has been great over the past few games. Over his past six games, Volpe is batting .391 with four RBIs and four runs scored. The entire Yankees offense has been on fire this season, ranking second in baseball in runs scored. With so many batters doing well, it sets up the opportunity for everyone to drive in runs. Volpe has had solid success against Ryan Pepiot in his career as well. He is 2/4 with a double in his career against Pepiot. In the Yankees’ last game, Volpe batted right behind Aaron Judge and Ben Rice. Those players have been amazing this season and are almost always on base. That gives Volpe a great chance to drive in a run tonight, especially since he is in such solid form and has a good career history against this pitcher.
