In windy and difficult conditions in San Antonio, Brian Harman ($7,500; 108.5 FPTS) held on for the win on Sunday at the Valero Texas Open. Harman shot a +3 on Sunday in the Final Round with three birdies, four bogeys and a double-bogey. It was still enough to hold on for the win, though, since Andrew Novak ($7,500; 90 FPTS) couldn’t put pressure on, sinking to a T3 finish with a +4 round, including three bogeys in the last four holes.

Harman started the week with back-to-back rounds of -6 and held on to win in difficult weather conditions. The 38-year-old’s last win was also in bad weather at The Open Championship in 2023. He hadn’t won in 623 days since that major championship victory.
Harman had ownership of just 4.8% in the PGA TOUR $700K SAND TRAP [$200K TO 1ST], giving us low ownership winners with Viktor Hovland, Min Woo Lee and Harman in the last three weeks leading up to the Masters next week.
The best rounds of the day came from Patrick Fishburn ($6,900; 85.5 FPTS) and Thorbjorn Olesen ($7,200; 76.5 FPTS) who both were four-under and moved from T49 all the way up to T4. Fishburn’s huge round was highlighted by a made eagle putt from 105’8″ on the 17th hole. It was the longest putt made on the PGA TOUR since 2008.

Ryan Gerard ($7,600; 96 FPTS) finished alone in second after his strong -3 round with four birdies and just one bogey, which came on his final hole of the day.
In the PGA TOUR $700K SAND TRAP [$200K TO 1ST], an entry from cozmod75 finished in the top spot with Corey Conners ($10,100; 67 FPTS) as a high-priced chalky play and Harman and Chan Kim ($7,000; 79.5 FPTS) as lower-owned leverage plays.
