NFL Division Odds were released on DraftKings Sportsbook on Friday, days before free agency begins on March 12th. The new league year will kick off at 4 p.m. ET that day, when a flurry of moves is expected to take place. For now, we can look over how the division odds breakdown on DraftKings.
NFL AFC Division Odds for the 2025-26 season
AFC East
The Bills are the biggest favorites to win their division at -250, which translates to an implied probability of 71.4%. They easily won the division last season, finishing as the only team with a winning record at 13-4. The Bills will need to address their salary cap situation ahead of free agency, as they are one of four teams with negative cap space, currently at -$8.4 million. Nonetheless, barring major moves within the division, the Bills stand alone in the AFC East.
AFC North
The Ravens are favored to win the AFC North once again at -140. Aside from their offensive line, the Ravens don’t have glaring needs heading into free agency. In my opinion, the Bengals will be the team to watch. Joe Burrow is coming off an MVP-caliber season that could have ended very differently if not for their early-season struggles. If the Bengals can bolster their defensive line, they could emerge as a major contender for the top spot in the AFC North.
AFC South
The AFC South feels wide open, and the odds reflect that. While the Texans are at even money to win the division, the Jaguars and Colts are closely bunched at +300 and +320, respectively. The Jaguars are looking to wipe the slate clean with a new general manager and head coach. Moves have already been made ahead of free agency, including the release of Evan Engram and the trade of receiver Christian Kirk within the division to the Texans. With over $60 million in cap space available, could the Jags return to relevancy?

AFC West
The AFC West is tightening up. Last year, the Chiefs were heavy favorites to win the division, opening around -200. This year, they’re at -125, which translates to an implied probability of 55.5%. The Chargers and Broncos were in the mix last season and should be again. Both teams have ample cap space to work with, while the Chiefs will need to get creative to dig themselves out of negative cap space. In a division that’s felt like a foregone conclusion for years, this could be a fun one to sweat all season long.
NFL NFC Division Odds for the 2025-26 season
NFC East
It was too little, too late for the Commanders last season to dethrone the Eagles. Despite winning their final five games, the Commanders settled for second place in the NFC East. They’ll undoubtedly look to add more weapons around Jayden Daniels and have already acquired Deebo Samuel to jumpstart the offense. However, it’ll take a lot to topple the Eagles, who are at -150 to win the division again. That translates to an implied probability of 60%
NFC North
According to the odds, this is one of the tightest divisions in the league. The Lions are the favorites again but their implied probability at +125 is at 44.4%. They continue to look like a complete team, as long as they get key players back healthy. A lot could still take place within the division with the Packers, Vikings and Bears all in close proximity. The Vikings have a ton of cap space to work with, owning the sixth highest total with $63 million.
NFC South
If the Bucs are going to claim another divisional title, they’ll need to bolster their defense. Bringing some consistency to the cornerback position would be a solid first step. As for the rest of the division, the Panthers looked rejuvenated once Bryce Young was reinstated as the starter. They still need significant help on both sides of the ball, though the search for a quarterback has been put to rest (for now). While I don’t think they’re ready to contend for the division title, they at least make the NFC South more than a two-team race.
NFC West
I have to be honest, there isn’t a bet I want to make here right now. It feels like all four of these teams are in the midst of a rebuild and no one particularly stands out. The odds are suggesting a turn around for the Niners, who shockingly ended up dead last in the NFC West last season. The Niners, Rams, and likely the Seahawks will have a completely new look at receiver, making this division very tough to figure out.
