Davante Adams has officially hit the free agent market, with the Jets releasing him Tuesday afternoon. Rumors of his impending release started to circulate after it was announced that Aaron Rodgers would also not return to the Jets. After being acquired from the Raiders, Adams made 67 catches on 114 targets for 854 yards and seven touchdowns through 11 games. With the move, the Jets will save $30 million against the salary cap.

A few hours after the news dropped, DraftKings Sportsbook released the odds of where Adams will call home in 2025. The Packers have opened up as the favorite at +165. After that, the Chargers and 49ers are tied for the second best odds at +550.
The Packers will have a lot of uncertainty at receiver heading into the 2025 season. Both Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson are big question marks, as they continue to deal with injuries. Watson tore his ACL in early January while Doubs dealt with numerous head injuries with at least one concussion. Numerous Packers players have expressed their desire to reunite with Adams, including Josh Jacobs, Xavier McKinney and most importantly, Jordan Love.

The 49ers are another interesting team to keep an eye on. They traded Deebo Samuel to the Washington Commanders over the weekend, netting only a fifth-round pick. Adams has expressed in the past his desire to play on the West Coast, which is also why the Chargers and Rams are atop the market. The 49ers have money to play with after moving Samuel and pairing him with Brandon Aiyuk and Jauan Jennings would give Brock Purdy a deadly corps to choose from.
