Aaron Rodgers’ next team could find him in Los Angeles, at least according to DraftKings Sportsbook. After originally opening at +1000, the Rams have moved to +190. Earlier this offseason, the Jets met with Rodgers to inform him they would be moving forward without him. After injuring his Achilles two years ago, Rodgers played in 17 games this season, throwing for 3,897 yards and 28 touchdowns.

When the market first opened, the Steelers were the betting favorites, at +200, followed by the Raiders at +300. While both teams are still in the mix, the Rodgers to LA rumors continue to pick up steam. Of course, this move is likely contingent on the Rams finding a trade partner for their current quarterback, Matt Stafford. During Super Bowl week, the Rams allowed Stafford to talk with other teams to test the market. Numerous reports have surfaced that the Rams are looki,ng for a first-round pick in return AND Stafford is looking to be paid $50 million annually. Quite frankly, it feels like an absurd ask for a 37-year-old quarterback. Nonetheless, the Giants, Browns, Steelers and Raiders have all expressed interest.
The Rams will likely also have a new look at offense should they land Rodgers. Cooper Kupp is expected to be traded this offseason, as the Rams were not interested in reworking his contract. Kupp is on a three-year $80.1 million contract that’ll pay a base of $12.5 million and a roster bonus of $7.5 million. Kupp’s cap hit is $29.7 million with a $22.2 dead cap value. With the emergence of Puka Nacua, whose locked up until 2027, Kupp became expendable. The loss of Kupp would leave the Rams with Nacua, Demarcus Robinson Jordain Whittington, Tutu Atwell, Tyler Johnson, and Xavier Smith. Teams favored to land Kupp include the Broncos (+450), Lions (+550), Commanders (+650) and Patriots (+650).
