DraftKings Fantasy Football Millionaire Winning Lineup Breakdown: Divisional Round

The NFL playoffs had plenty of drama, upsets, and even some snow in the Divisional Round. The four games of the weekend were combined in the biggest contests on DraftKings, headlined by the $2.5M FANTASY FOOTBALL MILLIONAIRE [$1M TO 1ST], which gave entries a chance to claim a million-dollar top prize. Of the over 117,000 entries, one from BobbyFi emerged on top with a total of 220.96 fantasy points. A late push in the final game of the week helped BobbyFi claim this week’s “Crowning Moment” by beating the rest of the field including Garcia and rotomwash who both finished within three points of the winner.

Here’s what the highest-scoring entry from the Divisional Round looked like:

A proven playoff performer produces opening punch

In the first game of the weekend, the entry from BobbyFi only had one player. Travis Kelce ($5,000; 27.7 FPTS) didn’t have an amazing season by his lofty standards, but he proved he’s still reliable in the postseason by hauling in four catches for 73 yards and a touchdown in the Chiefs’ 23-14 win over the Texans.

While Kelce wasn’t necessarily a low-ownership play, he wasn’t the most popular tight end option either. He was owned in 24.3% of entries and finished as the highest-scoring tight end of the week by a margin of almost 10 fantasy points.

He was the only player from the first game that was part of BobbyFi’s “Crowning Moment,” but he got the entry off to a fast start out of the gate.

Another command performance

The biggest upset of the weekend was the Commanders going into Detroit and taking down the Lions. BobbyFi’s entry leaned heavily into that Saturday night matchup with five slots on the roster filled by Lions or Commanders.

Jayden Daniels ($7,000; 25.06 FPTS) was the highest-scoring QB of the week, and he also had the highest ownership with 22.9%. He delivered a big win by throwing for 299 passing yards and two touchdowns while also running for 51 yards.

One of his favorite targets was Dyami Brown ($3,900; 15.8 FPTS), who I highlighted as my favorite sleeper wide receiver of the week on Saturday morning. Brown followed up his big Wild Card game with six catches on eight targets for 98 yards. Even without a touchdown, Brown was the No. 4 WR of the week.

Brown was a key to finishing near the top since he was in 15.8% of entries overall but in 57 of the top 58 entries.

Another key contributor to BobbyFi’s “Crowning Moment” was the Commanders DST ($2,300; 17 FPTS), who has the lowest salary of all eight teams but produced the highest output. They were owned in only 6.1% of entries, so their five takeaways, two sacks and this defensive touchdown didn’t help many entries, but definitely helped boost BobbyFi to the top spot.

On the other side of the matchup, BobbyFi also Jahmyr Gibbs ($7,700; 38.5 FPTS) and Amon-Ra St. Brown ($7,200; 24.7 FPTS), who were both popular but expansive plays from the Detroit side of the matchup. Both had big games despite the loss. St. Brown was the top receiver of the week and Gibbs was the No. 2 running back.

Snow globe Saquon

The top running back of the week was Saquon Barkley ($8,200; 42.2 FPTS), who was the only player in this entry from the snow game in Philadelphia.

Barkley had touchdown runs of 62 and 78 yards and finished with a massive total of 205 rushing yards while adding 27 receiving yards on four catches for his total of 42.2 fantasy points. He was the top producer of the weekend and was owned in much fewer entries than Gibbs, checking in with a 41.3% ownership compared to Gibbs at 53.6%.

He also finished as Sunday’s King of the End Zone.

A Likely hero

The last game of the weekend was the Bills and Ravens battling in Buffalo for the final spot in a Conference Championship game. BobbyFi capped off this week’s “Crowning Moment” with Isaiah Likely ($3,500; 17.3 FPTS) and Khalil Shakir ($5,000; 12.7 FPTS).

Likely’s touchdown with just under two minutes remaining ended up not quite being enough for the Ravens after Mark Andrews ($4,500; 10.4 FPTS) dropped the game-tying two-point conversion, but that touchdown was enough to give BobbyFi the boost into the top spot as Likely finished with four catches on five targets for 73 yards and a touchdown.

The Bottom Line

This week’s winning entry got big games from the stars at the top of the salary structure and included just the right value plays with Brown, Likely and the Commanders DST. Likely’s late-game heroics were just enough to claim the “Crowning Moment” for BobbyFi.
