The final game of Wild Card Weekend takes place Monday night in Arizona between the Vikings and Rams. Due to the devastating fires in the area, it was announced on Thursday that these teams would play at State Farm Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals. Nonetheless, the Rams will be the home team in this game as they look to move on to the Divisional Round. Let’s look at home I’ll be building my lineups for this Vikings-Rams Showdown contest on DraftKings.

Captain’s Picks
Puka Nacua ($15,900): The gap seperating Nacua and Cooper Kupp ($14,100) was widened. Once upon a time these two receivers were the 1A/1B in this offense. Particularly since Kupp has returned from his ankle injury, Nacua has firmly been the WR1. Dating back to Week 13, Kupp has averaged just 4.6 targets, 2.4 receptions and 32.4 yards per game. With those type of numbers, he’s no where worth spending $14,100 at the captain spot. Nacua, over that same span, is averaging 10.6 targets, 8.4 receptions and a ridiculous 100 receiving yards. He should thrive in this game like he did back in Week 8. Nacua made seven catches on nine targets for 106 yards. Nacua did a good chunk of his damage against CB Stephon Gilmore, catching all three of his targets for 46 yards.
FLEX Plays
Tyler Higbee ($3,000): Higbee should be considered one of the better value plays on this slate. He played 27 snaps in Week 18, which the most he’s logged in his three games this year. While it wasn’t with Stafford under center, Higbee saw a full workload, grabbing five passes on seven targets for 46 yards and a touchdown. It was a meaningless game overall, but it was good to get Higbee back on the grind ahead of this game. The Vikings allowed over 50 receiving yards per game to opposing tight ends, which could be good news for Higbee. It won’t take a lot for him to reach value on his salary, especially on a slate that is extremely top heavy.
Jordan Addison ($7,000): This is a very attractive salary for Addison. At $7,000, he’s $4,000 less than Justin Jefferson ($11,000). Like the Rams used to be, the Vikings offense is quite condensed between these two receivers. Jefferson has been the alpha lately but these two aren’t a $4,000 difference. I would much prefer Addison over Kupp as well, who is $2,400 more expensive. Addison has also be just as big of a red zone threat as Jefferson during the second half of the season. Since Week 9, they both have 17 targets in the red zone. After that, TJ Hockenson would be next in line. I think at this price point, Addison is a very strong play.

T.J. Hockenson ($5,600): The connection between Sam Darnold and T.J. Hockenson has been very inconsistent. But, priced at $5,600, he’s another mid-tier play that should be considered. Hockenson has seen at least five targets since Week 12, making him a solid third option in this offense. The Rams have been one of the most generous teams to opposing tight ends, allowing an average of 15.8 DKFP to that position during the regular season. As mentioned above, Hockenson has been third in the pecking order in the red zone.
