King of the End Zone — What You Need to Know

DraftKings King of the End Zone Value Picks for Sunday, January 12
Marvin Mims +295
I really like Mims as a value play to potentially be the King of the End Zone on Saturday. Mims has been a big part of the offense lately, drawing at least four targets in six straight games. While he isn’t getting the deep shots like he was in his rookie season, Mims has been collecting a lot of yards after the catch. Over the last six weeks, he’s averaging over 59 yards after the catch per game for a total of 357. If he’s going to score, it’s likely going from outside the red zone, as Courtland Sutton and the running backs have dominated the touches.

Dontayvion Wicks +275
Christian Watson will miss the remainder of the season after tearing his ACL in Week 18. That now leaves Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs and Wicks as the regulars in three-wide sets. Watson has been the primary deep threat on this team, leading in targets of 20+ yards with 19. Doubs, Wicks and Reed are all tied for second with 15 apiece. Quite frankly, any of the three could wind up with the longest touchdown because of this. It’s Wicks, however, who has the longest odds of the trio. None of these players has a particularly strong against a good Eagles secondary. But, this is one of those lottery ticket picks that could pay off dividends when trying to take down the King of the End Zone with a player that won’t be popular. To Wicks’ credit, he’s seen an average of six targets over the last three weeks as the Packers have dealt with injuries.
