Update: Antetokounmpo has officially been downgraded to out, as expected. His next chance to suit up will be Friday at Indiana in Game 3.
Antetokounmpo has once again been listed as doubtful by the team, so he’s unlikely to suit up in Game 2. The Bucks were already preparing to be without the Greek Freak for the beginning of the series, and that was evident in the Game 1 win. This team remains one of the best at home this season, which helps since it has the higher seed in this round.
With Antetokounmpo sidelined, the Bucks will once again lean on Lillard and Khris Middleton to provide most of the team’s scoring. Bobby Portis is likely to get the start once again and should be a factor on the glass, along with Brook Lopez. Based on how Game 1 went, there’s reason to believe Milwaukee will continue to play well at home despite missing its best player.
