We’re entering the home stretch of the NFL season, as teams still have plenty to play for in terms of seeding. We have a good slate of games this weekend, including some Saturday games to get us going. Here’s what I’ve bet so far for NFL Week 16.
Chiefs ML (+105) – 2-units vs. Texans
I was fortunate enough to get Kansas City as an underdog on Tuesday, getting ahead of the news that it looks like Patrick Mahomes will suit up. Here’s the article I put out on Tuesday breaking this game down.
Eagles -3 (-115) – 1-unit at Commanders
The Eagles continue to roll, and have been particularly valuable on the road this season. Philly’s been a terrific bet away from home in 2024, going 6-1 ATS, both winning and covering by double digits. While Washington has been a great story this season, it feels like it’s slowing down. Even this past Sunday, the Commanders jumped out to a lead that seemed convincing enough to hold onto the win, but the game still came down to a two-point conversion against a bad Saints team. The defense is playing significantly better than the first time Jayden Daniels saw this matchup. I like the Eagles to continue their dominance on Sunday.
Vikings -3 (-108) – 1-unit at Seahawks
Geno Smith suffered a leg injury on Sunday night against the Packers, and even with him trending towards playing, the value here is on Minnesota. The Vikings somehow remain undervalued this season, and the Seahawks continue to get too much love for being at home. The Packers and Vikings should be considered very similar teams in terms or power ratings, and we’re setting this game at the same number as NFL — which was a 30-13 victory for the Pack. Seattle is just 2-6 ATS at home this season, and a hobbled Smith or Sam Howell is going to have to deal with a tremendous defense on Sunday. Give me the Vikings to keep the momentum going with the division still in their grasp.
