DraftKings Fantasy Football Millionaire Winning Lineup Breakdown: Week 13

Thanksgiving Weekend was truly a feast of fantasy football, and for Tedybear77, it was also a “Crowning Moment” in this week’s NFL $2.5M DraftKings Fantasy Football Millionaire. Tedybear77 found fire in all but one roster spot on the way to an impressive total of 218.74 fantasy points, more than 10 fantasy points clear of the field of over 147,000 entries.

Here’s what the top entry looked like from Week 13:

A Command Performance

The Commanders started out hot in their 42-19 victory over the visiting Titans, building a 28-0 lead before halftime. The core of the winning entry was a three-player stack from Washington led by Jayden Daniels ($7,200; 28.64 FPTS), who was owned in under 3% of entries but finished as the second-highest scoring QB of the week with 206 passing yards, three touchdowns and a rushing touchdown as well.

Two of those touchdowns went to Terry McLaurin ($7,100; 27.3 FPTS), who finished as the second-highest-scoring receiver and was also owned by under 3% of entries. McLaurin hauled in all eight of his targets for a total of 73 yards and his two scores.

The third member of the Commanders that contributed to Tedybear77’s “Crowning Moment” was Brian Robinson Jr. ($6,100; 20.9 FPTS). Robinson ran for a score and racked up over 100 yards before being replaced late in the game when it was lopsided.

Robinson’s ownership was also very low under 5%, which means that the Commanders stack gave this entry great differentiation and a very high ceiling.

On the other side of that game, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine ($4,200; 21.1 FPTS) continued to deliver as one of my wide-receiver sleepers. He hauled in two touchdowns on three receptions for 61 yards as the Titans tried to come back vs. the Commanders. He continues to find the end zone every week at an impressive rate.

Freiermuth and the Bolts

In other early games, this entry included a pair of Chargers and Pat Freiermuth ($3,500; 18.8 FPTS) at tight end. Freiermuth caught 6-of-7 targets from Russell Wilson ($5,700; 30.86 FPTS) for 68 yards and a touchdown and finished with 18.8 fantasy points.

While he was the No. 5 tight end of the week coming into Monday’s game, he was the second-highest scorer at the position on the main slate behind only Trey McBride ($5,800; 21.6 FPTS).

In Atlanta, Ladd McConkey ($6,100; 23.7 FPTS) continued his emergence as a fantasy force, racking up 117 yards on nine catches in the Chargers’ win over the Falcons. Tedybear77 also went with the Chargers DST ($3,100; 19 FPTS) in that matchup, and they helped the entry to its “Crowning Moment” by posting the highest score of the day from the position with one sack, four interceptions and this DST touchdown.

Running Buc Wild

In the late window, this entry passed on the Ravens vs. Eagles game, but it did include two Buccaneers who both had monster games against the Panthers.

Mike Evans ($6,700; 28.8 FPTS) was the only receiver to outscore McLaurin, finishing with eight catches on 12 targets for a total of 118 yards and this beautiful touchdown.

His teammate Bucky Irving ($5,800; 30.5 FPTS) was the top running back on the slate, and he was a key part of this entry’s “Crowning Moment” even though he had a very high ownership percentage.

Irving dominated with 152 rushing yards and a touchdown while adding three catches for 33 yards on his three targets.

Irving was part of the “Crowning Moment” for the second straight week as he continues his emergence as a top running back and has become the clear lead option in Tampa.

The Bottom Line

With Irving and Evans going off late, Tedybear77 claimed the “Crowning Moment” by a comfortable margin, and finished on the top of this week’s DraftKings Milly Maker in Week 13. We’ve seen some great stacks in recent winners, and this week continued that trend with the strong trio of Commanders.

In Week 14, six teams are on their bye week, giving us 10 games on the main slate for a third straight week. Once again, there will be a $1,000,000 top prize on the line in the NFL $2.5M Fantasy Football Millionaire [$1M to 1st]. Just like in each of the last two weeks, seven games kick off at 1:00 p.m. ET followed by three games in the 4:00 window. This week, the showcase matchup is between the Rams and the Bills in Los Angeles while the beaten-up 49ers head to the Windy City to face the Bears.
