DraftKings Fantasy Football Millionaire Winning Lineup Breakdown: Week 11

In fantasy football, Week 11 will be remembered for monster weeks from the Lions and Taysom Hill ($4,500; 46.52 FPTS). Since those players stood out from the crowd this week, it isn’t surprising that the top entry in the NFL $2.5M DraftKings Fantasy Football Millionaire included Hill and a Detroit stack. It was crcingthedrn who claimed this week’s “Crowning Moment” and the $1,000,000 top prize. The entry totaled an impressive 232.5 fantasy points, which was just enough to squeak past macman411 who finished .48 short and in second place. It was a tight battle across the top entries with less than five fantasy points separating the top 11 entries with no ties anywhere near the top.

The Lions roar

It was supposed to be a battle of the big cats as the Lions hosted the Jaguars, but the Jaguars may have thought that their bye week started early since they forgot to show up in Detroit.

Jared Goff ($6,300; 37.58 FPTS) was the top-scoring QB and was owned in under 8% of entries in this contest, so he already brought good leverage by himself. Playing him with both his receivers was an even more against-the-grain move since both Amon-Ra St. Brown ($8,000; 41.7 FPTS) and Jameson Williams ($5,800; 25.6 FPTS) were under 9% owned as well.

Goff hit Brown on two of his four touchdown passes, and St. Brown finished as the top wide receiver on the board with 11 catches on 11 targets for an impressive 161 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Williams stepped up and did his part as well, hauling in four of his six targets for 124 yards and this touchdown complete with the Beast Mode celebration at the end.

Taysom Hill’s big day

Another huge part of crcingthedrn’s “Crowning Moment” was a gigantic performance from Hill, who was owned in under 4% of entries but delivered the top fantasy score of the main slate. Hill was at his multi-dimensional best against the Browns on Sunday and finished with 46.52 fantasy points, which was more than 10 points higher than any other player on the slate except for Goff and St. Brown.

Hill threw for 18 yards and an interception and also lost a fumble, but he more than made up for it with eight catches for 50 yards and seven carries for 138 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

Hill was the key to his team’s 35-14 victory and also was a huge part of many fantasy teams’ wins this weekend, including crcingthedrn’s “Crowning Moment”

Running back success

Those four players totaled 151.4 fantasy points, which is an incredibly great start, but they wouldn’t have been enough for this entry to come out on top. In the backfield, crcingthedrn included a bargain option in Audric Estime ($4,500; 5.5 FPTS) who had a down day, but the entry went with Breece Hall ($7,500; 31.1 FPTS) as the other running back and also rolled with De’Von Achane ($7,200; 20.5 FPTS) in the FLEX spot.

Achane was the most owned player in the contest at 35.98% ownership, but he came through with over 100 yards rushing + receiving and this walk-in touchdown to post 20.5 fantasy points.

Hall had an even bigger game with a rushing touchdown, a receiving touchdown and 121 yards rushing + receiving while also hauling in seven catches. His two touchdowns made him the top running back on the main slate, while Achane finished at No. 4.

The Bourne Supremacy

The Patriots came up short against the Rams, but playing Kendrick Bourne ($3,100; 18 FPTS) as a punt play at receiver was a brilliant move by crcingthedrn and a key part of wrapping up this week’s “Crowning Moment.”

Bourne didn’t play a single offensive snap in Week 10 vs. the Bears but was back in the mix on Sunday with a 47% snap share that ranked third on the team at receiver. He caught all five of his targets for 70 yards and a touchdown to return elite value for crcingthedrn and free up the salary to build around Achane, Hall and the pricey Lions.

The Bottom Line

With Bourne’s bargain hit allowing for Taysom Hill and the Lions to go off and do their thing, crcingthedrn claimed the “Crowning Moment” and the top prize in the Milly Maker in Week 11. Going with stars and scrubs gives you lineup a very high ceiling if you have the right stars and the right value picks in place. Seven games kick off at 1:00 p.m. ET followed by three games in the 4:00 window. The showcase game is a classic NFC matchup as the 49ers head to Lambeau Field to face the Packers.
