Top five fantasy football stash players for NFL Week 11

Fridays are for Five Lists of Five here at DKNetwork, and it’s sticks season! Week 11. Sticks. 11—get it? Sure you do. Energy is high! As is uncertainty abound. Big question marks still hang over players like Amari Cooper, Dalton Kincaid, Sam LaPorta, Tee Higgins, etc. We need fantasy football stashes. Fantasy football streamers. It never ends.

A reminder of the premise behind this specific series of lists: All I want is for you to be better than your friends. You’re going to be surrounded by them on Sunday, probably. How sweet would it be if you could be sure you’ve checked every box possible that might guarantee you a resounding victory this week? Some kick-your-feet-up insights? I’ve got some.

Again—I know my audience. The smoke-break audience. The quick-scan-of-the-phone-on-the-way-to-the-fridge audience. The give-me-as-much-info-as-possible-as-fast-as-possible audience. I’m a man of the people.

And so, once more: Five Lists of Five. Think of these as byte-sized, two-minutes-to-yourself lists to scan during your weekend as you foam at the mouth for any competitive fantasy edge. As much relevant analysis as I can fit into, like, 250 words per player.

Keeping it rolling this week with my top five fantasy football stash players for NFL Week 11.

Also available from this week’s Fantasy Fridays Five Lists of Five:

Stash ‘Em

Joshua Palmer, WR, Los Angeles Chargers (9.4% rostered)

Over the last five weeks, according to NFL Next Gen Stats’s receiver grade, Joshua Palmer is the second-best receiver on the Chargers, and has a better score (123.6) than Darnell Mooney, Garrett Wilson, and Cade Otton.

It’s been quiet: 11 receptions on 18 targets for 272 yards and one touchdown. But it’s been extremely efficient. He’s sixth in the league during this time in EPA/target among receivers with at least ten targets.

Justin Herbert may not be throwing the ball a lot, but when he does, it typically connects for a fantasy-valuable play. Should the oft-injured McConkeys or Johnstons of the Chargers miss any time, Palmer would be a surefire FLEX fill-in.

Samaje Perine, RB, Kansas City Chiefs (3.9% rostered)

When I stepped out my door this morning and felt that winter-turn chill in the air, I smelled Jerick McKinnon on the Kansas City Chiefs. Did you not?

I’ve written Perine up as a stash before, and I’m doubling down this week because he’s still so under-rostered. We sort of know what works for the Kansas City Chiefs in the backfield. Pacheco and Hunt work, CEH and Carson Steele not so much. That seems like Perine is buried on the depth chart, but I’ve seen this movie before.

If the Chiefs’ passing game manages to take the second-half leap we expect it to, I’d look for a few fantasy-fun performances from Perine during Weeks 13-17.

Roschon Johnson, RB, Chicago Bears (14.6% rostered)

Back-to-back appearances for the big man. If the Bears are going to get back to basics in the interest of coaching their quarterback, the run game will likely be the primary beneficiary. D’Andre Swift isn’t getting many touches at all in the red area (he’s near the bottom of the league in that metric).

The Bears aren’t really on quit watch. They’re going to have to run out a relatively clean product onto the field every week. That will mean, eventually, some goal-to-go carries. Those will go to Johnson, and, should Swift miss time, so too would the middle-eighty carries.

Audric Estime, RB, Denver Broncos (33.6% rostered)

The industry pick of the week. His ownership almost made him ineligible for this list, but I remain surprised that he’s available in over 65% of leagues, still.

I don’t altogether love the matchup against the Falcons this week for Estime. I feel like this might have to be a Bo Nix game, unless the Broncos’ defense can really control the rhythm.

But in Weeks 12, 13, and 15 Estime plays the Raiders, Browns, and the Colts. Those are three green-light matchups during a critical time of the fantasy football home stretch. Make sure you’re rostering him with those matchups in mind, even if you don’t start him this week.

Ray Davis, RB, Buffalo Bills (16.8% rostered)

Under 20% owned and the handcuff to one of the most valuable rushing offenses in the NFL. ‘Nuff said.
