The NBA Cup gets underway on Tuesday, and the slate provides plenty of interesting betting opportunities. Below are all of my plays for Tuesday’s betting card. Click on each play to a link to the article with full analysis.
Pistons ML (+100) – 2-units
The Pistons are winners of three of their last five games, with the two losses by a combined three points. No Jimmy butler in this one for Miami, with the Pistons looking for a little revenge for a head to head loss earlier in the season.
Cade Cunningham OVER 37.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110) – 1-unit
Cunningham has been on a tear, going over this number in four straight games, three of which were triple-doubles.
Tyus Jones OVER 19.5 Points + Assists (+100) – 1-unit
Jones should see an increased role with Kevin Durant ruled out for this game, and gets a matchup against a Utah defense that ranks near the bottom of the league.
Celtics 1H TT OVER 61.5 (-120) – 1-unit
Celtics were 6-2 to this trend this season, but have stayed under in three in a row. Good spot here to breakout of the early scoring slump they’ve been in. Boston still averages 62 points per game in the first half, and the Hawks are allowing the third-most points per game in the first half in the NBA. The Celtics tapped out of the NBA Cup early last season, and have made reference to wanting a stronger showing this season. Points scored matter in this tournament, and we saw Joe Mazzulla keep his foot on the gas when it came to scoring last season. Boston dropped 75 in the first half in Atlanta last week, and I think they’ll come out hot in this one.
