Jake Paul will take on the legend “Iron” Mike Tyson on November 15. Paul has already made a lot of money in boxing. Three of his fights have generated 500,000 PPV buys or more. Paul’s biggest purse of his young boxing career came against former UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva. Paul reportedly made $4 million for that fight, which he won by unanimous decision.
But this fight is on a different level. Tyson is an all-time great in boxing. During his 20-year professional boxing career, he was a PPV megastar earning $430 million. Although Tyson hasn’t fought since 2005, he is still one of the world’s most popular and famous athletes.
Paul’s promotional company, Most Valuable Promotions, is promoting this event with Netflix. In a press conference leading up to this fight, Paul said, “I’m here to make $40 million and knock out a legend.”
According to Forbes, Paul has earned $38 million in his four-year boxing career. Paul made $3 million in his loss to Tommy Fury in February 2023. He also made $2 million against Tyron Woodley and Nate Diaz.
Even though this isn’t a PPV, it will still generate a ton of money with a packed AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. This event will air live on Netflix at 8:00 p.m. ET. Paul is currently the favorite at -210 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
