Election Day is tomorrow, and the latest DraftKings odds still favor former President Donald Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris. But, we’re seeing some movement as we prepare for the polls to open on Tuesday.
Trump remains the favorite with -140 odds, with Harris now sitting at +120. This marks a shift from last week, when Trump held a stronger lead with -185 odds than Harris’s +150.
As a reminder, these presidential election odds on DraftKings Sportsbook are available only in Ontario, Canada.
That aligns with what RealClear Polling is seeing, as Trump now holds a slight +0.1 advantage in their average of all polls. RealClear also has Trump seeing the following advantages in key battleground states:
- +0.3 in Pennsylvania
- +1.5 in North Carolina
- +1.9 in Georgia
- +2.5 in Arizona
- +1.0 in Nevada
The latest ABC News/Ipsos poll, however, shows Harris has 49% support among likely voters, while Trump sits at 46%. The numbers tell a story of how, despite President Biden dropping out of the race this past summer, both parties have stood firmly behind their candidates. This three-point distinction is significant because it reflects the margin of the past eight presidential elections, in which the Democrats secured ownership of the popular vote in seven.
RCP has Harris with the advantage in the key battleground states of Wisconsin (+0.4) and Michigan (+1.2). And in Iowa, the Des Moines Register latest poll is something of a shocker. The poll, released on Friday, has Harris up by three points over Trump, a result which had the pollster saying, “It’s hard for anybody to say they saw this coming.”
