Why A.J. Brown will score a touchdown in Week 7 vs. New York Giants

A.J. Brown returned to the Eagles offense and made a massive impact. Drawing nine targets, Brown made six catches for 116 yards and his second touchdown of the season. Now, he’ll draw a very favorable matchup against the Giants, and I like him to score touchdown number three.

In coverage, Brown is going to see a lot of Giants CB Deonte Banks. This is great news for Brown, as Banks has already been scored on four times this season, which is tied for the most in the league. Opposing receivers have made 22 catches against Banks for 323 yards as well. On the slate overall, this has to be considered one of the best matchups to target for a wide receiver going up against a particular cornerback. If you like that type of content, I like to highlight those matchups every week here.

While Brown only has one target in the red zone, it doesn’t really matter much. His touchdown potential comes from his massive aDOT, which currently sits at 15 on the season. The Giants have been getting burned with these type of deep shots, so it wouldn’t shock me to see Brown’s TD come from outside the red zone. At +130, this is one of my favorite touchdown bets on the week.
