Is Malik Nabers playing in Week 6?

The New York Giants are hosting the Cincinnati Bengals in NFL Week 6, but they will be without rookie standout Malik Nabers for a second straight week due to a concussion suffered in Week 4 against the Cowboys.

Nabers had a rough Week 1, but then took off with three straight games of over 25 fantasy points, highlighted by a 31.7-fantasy-point performance against the Commanders. He averaged 15 targets and 10 catches per game during that three-game stretch and scored three touchdowns.

Last week, the Giants overcame his absence and knocked off the Seahawks on the road in Seattle. They’ll look to do the same this week as 4-point underdogs at home against the Bengals.

I wrote earlier this week about Nabers’ absence having an impact on Darius Slayton, who becomes a great play in almost all formats.

In DFS contests, the Sunday night matchup is available as a single-game Showdown, highlighted by the NFL Showdown $1.2M Sunday Night Showdown [$300K to 1st] (CIN @ NYG). Slayton is only $6,600 in those contests and deserves consideration as a Captain’s Pick, as well.

Without Nabers, there should also more targets available for Wan’Dale Robinson ($8,200) and rookie tight end Theo Johnson ($2,800). Johnson is an interesting flier play at tight end coming off a career-high five catches for 48 yards and 9.8 fantasy points last week. If you’re desperate for tight end help in season-long formats, he’s a solid option in what should be a favorable matchup.

Slayton is +135 to score a touchdown, while Robinson checks in at +135, too. Johnson is a good long shot at +350.
