We’re going to go through the most-bet NFL Week 2 picks against the spreads from Sunday’s slate. These teams are ranked by the total number of bets that have been cast toward them covering their game’s spread.
No. 1: Los Angeles Chargers
Opponent: Carolina Panthers
Opening Line: -3
Current Line: -5
The Chargers have received 90% of their game’s picks against the spread. However, there’s a slight disparity between the percentage of bets and percentage of handle that could indicate the sharps are with Carolina.
L.A. has received 88% of the handle for this game’s spread bets. That means the Panthers have gotten 10% of the spread bets but 12% of the handle. That’s a small amount of percentage points, but that’s enough to show a lean when dealing with a lower percentage range.
No. 2: San Francisco 49ers
Opponent: Minnesota Vikings

Although the 49ers come in at No. 2 among most-bet NFL Week 2 picks against the spread for Sunday’s action, there is a much larger gap in the handle and percentage of bets than LAC-CAR.
San Francisco has seen 85% of the spread bets, yet this spread has only ticked up a half point. (Not around a key number, either). Well, when looking at the handle, the 49ers have only accounted for 65% of the handle for spread bets in this game.
So, only 15% of the game’s spread bets have gone toward the Vikings, but those bets have accounted for 35% of the handle.
No. 3: Baltimore Ravens
Opponent: Las Vegas Raiders

The Ravens actually have a slightly higher percentage of bets in their game than the 49ers. (Quick reminder that this list is based on the total number of bets a team has received to cover.)
This is the first play among the group in which the percentages seem to favor the popular play. The Ravens have seen 86% of the spread bets for this game come their way. Those bets have accounted for 95% of the handle.
