Who are David Samson’s Top 5 Quentin Tarantino characters?

DraftKings Network’s Jeff Pratt and Nick Friar recently released their list of their Top 10 Quentin Tarantino characters to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the release of Inglourious Basterds. Well, David Samson, the host of Nothing Personal with David Samson, which airs at 10 a.m. ET on DraftKings Network is something of a movie buff. What did he think of the list from Jeff and Nick?

David has some critiques — for instance, he thinks Jeff and Nick have Aldo Raine too high at No. 4 and while David is a Kill Bill guy he doesn’t understand how you could have the Bride ahead of Mia Wallace. And where is the love for True Romance?

But David does agree with Hans Landa at No. 1. After all, the opening scene of Inglourious Basterds, David says, is the greatest opening scene of all time. if a scene can get David to stop snacking, he says that is an accomplishment and it means you’ve got his attention. Moreover, David says he doesn’t often watch Inglourious Basterds from start to finish but he will often go back and watch that opening scene just to feel that tension.

So who is on David’s Top 5? Let’s take a look:

David Samson’s Top 5 Quentin Tarantino characters

5. Marsellus Wallace, Pulp Fiction (Ving Rhames)

4. Jackie Brown, Jackie Brown (Pam Grier)

3. Jules Winnfield, Pulp Fiction (Samuel L. Jackson)
