The NBA Draft Combine is underway in Chicago and one player everyone has their eyes on is Bronny James, the son of LeBron James who appears primed to remain in the Draft if reports are to be believed.

ESPN’s Bobby Marks joined Mike Golic Jr. and Mike Golic Sr. to talk about Bronny’s Draft prospects on Tuesday’s edition of GoJo and Golic.
GoJo asks Bobby what the mood and the vibes have been like in Chicago. Bobby says he has been intrigued to see Bronny play, especially given the less-than-stellar body of work at USC under some difficult circumstances. But Bronny does have some buzz, Bobby says.

One of the big things to come out yesterday was the official measurements, which had Bronny about three inches SHORTER than what everyone thought.

Stephon Castle is 6’5.5″ without shoes with a 6’9″ wingspan.
Bronny James is 6’1.5″ with a 6’7.25″ wingspan.
Alex Sarr is 6’11.75″ with a 7’4.25″ wingspan.
One thing Bobby took away, despite this revelation, is how much bigger Bronny is in person. He says Bronny has put on 15 pounds since the end of his season at USC, bringing his weight up to 210 along with a pretty big wingspan for guard. The big question is what position will he be able to play at the next level? Ultimately, does Bobby think Bronny will be drafted and what will be his best opportunity for development?

LeBron may have created some buzz by attending the Cavs’ playoff game against the Celtics on Monday night, but Bobby says the expectation is still that LeBron somehow will be back in L.A., although he says you never know. The unknown is the unknown and perhaps Bobby’s wife is right that LeBron has made so much money in his career that he could perhaps go to Cleveland for the minimum. Only time will tell.
