Soler wasn’t in the San Francisco Giants’ lineup on Tuesday due to shoulder soreness. If he can play on Wednesday, he has a good chance of hitting a home run. Not only is Soler going to be playing at Coors Field, but he will be taking on Colorado starter Peter Lambert. He already has one home run against Lambert in his career and the Rockies’ pitcher enters with a 5.66 ERA. Lambert allowed a home run in his last outing, and even if he gets pulled early, Soler would have a good matchup against the Colorado bullpen.
Jose Altuve vs. New York Yankees (+370)
I already think that Altuve has at least one hit on Wednesday, so why not bet that it will be a home run? He has a good matchup against Yankees starter Carlos Rodon, who has allowed six home runs this season, all to right-handed batters. He got rocked by the Baltimore Orioles in his last start, allowing three home runs. Rodon has given up four total home runs in his last two starts. Altuve is 8-27 against him in his career with a home run. He has seven home runs on the year, with only one against left-handed pitchers so far.
Andrew Benintendi vs. Tampa Bay Rays (+800)
Rays starting pitcher Aaron Civale has allowed seven home runs this season, tied for the 10th most by any pitcher. He takes on a struggling Chicago White Sox team that he should be familiar with from his time with the Cleveland Guardians. Benintendi enters the game 4-11 in his career against Civale, including two home runs. Of the seven home runs that Civale has given up this season, four have been to left-handed hitters, giving Benintendi a little extra upside in the matchup.
