Some people, including Michael Lombardi of the Lombardi Line and GM Shuffle, call this lying season. And make no mistake about it, Dianna is VERY familiar with execs being less than honest. So much so, that she’s become something of an expert in knowing when she’s being lied to. And she doesn’t hold back when she is, so let’s just get real shall we?

Dianna says she woke up feeling anxious for the Vikings, as they let Kirk Cousins walk as that contract wasn’t one ownership felt comfortable giving out. Now, however, they have to find the guy and he, essentially has to be a superhero, Dianna says. She’s anxious for the team and for the player as he has to carry the weight of the Vikings’ world on their shoulders. But another part of her anxiety for the Vikings is that he could get boxed out completely and leave the night with the fourth- or fifth-best QB on the board. To her, that’s not going to be good enough and it’s going to put a lot of pressure on Minnesota’s GM and coaching staff.
Speaking of QBs, Senior has long been a fan of Michael Penix, saying he thinks that, pending health, he could be the best quarterback in this draft. How much is Dianna hearing about his stock potentially rising?
