NASCAR’s Xfinity Series will be in Alabama for its next race. The Talladega Motor Speedway will host the 2024 Ag-Pro 300 on Saturday, April 20. Qualifying will be held on Friday, April 19 at 5:30 p.m. ET on FS1. Usually, there is a practice session ahead of qualifying, but there is not one listed this week on the weekend calendar.
Talladega utilizes the superspeedway qualifying format, which begins with each driver running a single-car, one-lap qualifier. The 10 fastest drivers then advance to the final round of qualifying, where they will run a new single-lap, one-car qualifier. The fastest driver from the second round of qualifying will earn the pole position as the starting lineup is determined.
Austin Hill has the best odds to win the Ag-Pro 300 at DraftKings Sportsbook. He’s installed at +400 and is followed by A.J. Allmendinger (+1000), Sheldon Creed (+1200), Riley Herbst (+1200) and Justin Allgaier (+1200). Sam Mayer won last week’s race and has +1500 odds to make it two in a row. Jeb Burton is the reigning winner of the Ag-Pro 300 and is installed at +2500 to take the checkered flag again.
