Qualifying results: Nick Sanchez was the fastest driver in qualifying on Friday and claimed pole position for the SpeedyCash.com 250 Truck Series race. Christian Eckes will join him on the front row to start the race on Friday evening. The full starting lineup is listed below.
The NASCAR Truck Series is running on Friday at Texas Motor Speedway, opening the weekend with the SpeedyCash.com 250. The race is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET, and will be preceded by practice at 4:05 p.m. and qualifying at 4:35 p.m. All three events will air on FS1 and via live stream at Fox Sports Live.
Qualifying will feature a traditional, single truck, one-lap format. Each driver gets one lap to secure a qualifying time and the fastest lap gets pole position. The rest of the starting lineup will be sorted based on qualifying lap time.
Kyle Busch is making his fourth appearance with the Truck Series and is favored to claim his second checkered flag with the circuit. He is installed at +150 at DraftKings Sportsbook and is followed by Christian Eckes, who is +550. Busch last ran a Texas truck race in 2020 when he claimed the checkered flag at the Vankor 350.
Last year, Carson Hocevar claimed the checkered flat in Fort Worth. Nick Sanchez claimed pole position for that race. Neither is racing in this year’s version.
Here is the full field for Friday’s SpeedyCash.com 250 truck race. We’ll update this with results until the pole position and full starting lineup are determined.
