The Houston Texans will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 9 of the NFL season. Kickoff from NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, November 5.
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Texans are 3-point home favorites with an over/under of 40. Below, we’ll run through our three favorite player prop bets for this matchup.
Buccaneers vs. Texans player prop bets
Bucs RB Rachaad White — over 49.5 rush yards (-110)
The Texans were terrible against the run last season. They have been much better so far in 2023, but running backs like Zack Moss, Travis Etienne, and Alvin Kamara were all able to have productive days on the ground against them. Game flow has been an issue for White’s rushing totals lately, but he’s still seeing reasonable volume on the ground. This is a nice, competitive matchup to get him back on track.
Texans WR Nico Collins — over 59.5 receiving yards (-120)
Collins started the season on a tear with 80+ receiving yards in three of his first four games. His production has dipped recently, but this is a great spot for him to get back on track. The Buccaneers are very good at stopping the run, but they rank 27th in DVOA to wide receivers. Expect Collins to have targets funneled his way while turning those opportunities into a strong performance.
Texas RB Devin Singletary — anytime TD (-105)
Houston’s starting running back, Dameon Pierce, is not expected to play this week. That makes Singletary the team’s primary rusher, and he’ll likely handle the goal-line carries as well. While I’m not expecting Singletary to rack up a ton of yardage, his monopoly on the Texans’ backfield makes him a very strong candidate to punch one into the end-zone.
