Game day update: Less than two hours before the game, a heavy storm has made its way to the Meadowlands. There is a shelter-in-place warning in effect and nobody is being allowed on the field. The storm should move on by kickoff, but we’ll have to wait and see. There’s little in the way of wind, so if the game gets going on time, there shouldn’t be a significant fantasy impact other than maybe some bad footing.

Weather needs to be extreme to truly impact games, but when deciding between two players who you like equally, it might be a helpful tiebreaker. What we really don’t want to see is 20 mph or higher wind speeds. Rain can cause problems, but unless it is a combination of high winds and rain, we usually don’t want to downgrade our fantasy football players too much.
