Injuries to Monitor

  • Christian McCaffrey † (Hamstring): Briefly left the Week 7 loss to Atlanta with what was described as a thigh issue and returned. San Francisco was on bye in Week 8, so this week’s practice participation will be the first indicator.
  • James Cook III † (Head): Was evaluated for a head injury in the fourth quarter of Week 8 and cleared to return. Monitor this week’s practice reports.
  • Bhayshul Tuten † (Ankle, foot): Did not practice on Jacksonville’s first Week 9 injury report Monday, an estimate for the short week. He had 159 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns on 18 touches against the Colts in Week 8.
  • Cam Skattebo † (Hamstring): Tweaked the hamstring late in the Week 7 overtime win over Houston and worked off to the side during Monday’s unofficial practice coming out of the bye. Devin Singletary is the next option with Tyrone Tracy Jr. on injured reserve.
  • Aaron Jones Sr. † (Knee): Shared the backfield with Jordan Mason in Week 8. Minnesota has an extra day of rest before Monday’s game. Monitor this week’s practice reports.
  • Alvin Kamara † (Back): Played without a designation in Week 7 before New Orleans’ Week 8 bye. Monitor this week’s practice reports.
  • Saquon Barkley † (Hamstring, back): Was in and out of the Week 8 loss, and Elijah Mitchell had 11 carries. Monitor this week’s practice reports.
  • Kenny Gainwell † (Hip): Combined with Bucky Irving for 52 carries and 310 yards in Week 8. Monitor this week’s practice reports.
  • Breece Hall † (Quadriceps): Was limited all of last week and has been inactive the past five games. The Jets are hoping for a return this week, per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com, while Braelon Allen has topped 100 scrimmage yards in four straight games.
  • Jeremiyah Love † (Ankle): Had his right ankle rolled up on in Week 8, a new injury per Mike LaFleur, in his return from a two-game absence with a left ankle issue. He was ruled out at halftime.
  • TreVeyon Henderson † (Illness): Was inactive in Week 8 after being downgraded to out Saturday, and Rhamondre Stevenson led the backfield. Monitor this week’s practice reports.
  • Chris Rodriguez Jr. † (Hand): Was limited Monday, leaving both of Jacksonville’s top two backs on the report for the short week.
  • Bam Knight † (Concussion): Took a shoulder to the helmet in the third quarter of Week 8 and entered the concussion protocol. Tyler Allgeier is the only healthy back from Arizona’s Week 8 rotation.
  • Justice Hill † (Groin): Was limited Monday in his first appearance on the injury report this season.

DraftKings DFS Value Plays

Chuba Hubbard ($6,500) — Panthers vs. Broncos

Game environment: Panthers +2.5, O/U 44.5 (20.5 team total)

Last week: 24.9 DK points @ GB

2025 PPG: 8.4 DK fantasy points (15 games)

Projected DraftKings points: 19.1

Hubbard ranks 11th but costs less than all seven backs ahead of him with a Sunday Main salary, and he has played 79% of the snaps. He has at least 19 carries in four of his seven games, and Week 8 added eight targets to 22 carries at Green Bay. Denver ranks 23rd in DK points allowed to running backs, and a near pick’em spread keeps the ground game in play for four quarters. Seven touchdowns in seven games give him the scoring access to clear this salary.

Quinshon Judkins ($5,400) — Browns @ Saints

Game environment: Browns +2.5, O/U 43.5 (20.5 team total)

Last week: 6.9 DK points @ PIT

2025 PPG: 12.0 DK fantasy points (14 games)

Projected DraftKings points: 12.8

Judkins draws the most generous matchup on the board, as New Orleans ranks 32nd in DK points allowed to running backs. He leads Cleveland’s backfield with a 59% snap share and has handled at least 11 carries every week. He scored twice on 17 carries against Tennessee in Week 7 before the Week 8 dip. At $5,400 he is one of the cheapest lead backs on the Sunday Main slate.

Jonah Coleman ($5,300) — Broncos @ Panthers

Game environment: Broncos -2.5, O/U 44.5 (23.5 team total)

Last week: 20.4 DK points vs. KC

2025 PPG: No 2025 NFL sample (rookie)

Projected DraftKings points: 12.6

Coleman out-touched J.K. Dobbins 15 to 7 in Week 8 with RJ Harvey on injured reserve, and he scored the game-winning touchdown against Kansas City. His five targets and 63 receiving yards added a PPR floor to the carries. Carolina ranks 31st in DK points allowed to running backs, and Denver is a road favorite with a 23.5-point team total. He projects within a point of Rachaad White and Woody Marks at a similar or lower price.
