Dolphins return Hail Mary 99 yards for touchdown vs. Jets [VIDEO]

Only the Jets.

Today’s Black Friday game between the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets just went to halftime and it had one of the most bizarre endings to a first half you’ll ever see.

After Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa threw a pick-six with less than a minute left, he’d throw yet another one in the closing seconds of the half. With the ball and two seconds remaining, new Jets starter Tim Boyle decided to lob up a Hail Mary, because screw it, why not take a shot? It would be picked off by safety Jevon Holland and then, well....

Calamity like this is something that only happens to the New York Jets man. We see these Hail Mary attempts get either batted down or picked off all the time. But no one actually houses it for a touchdown! Unless you’re playing the Jets. So instead of a four-point game, they now trail by two scores.

The offense has been pedestrian for New York, but that’s to be expected when the team doesn’t have a viable option at quarterback at the moment. Aaron Rodgers has made it seem like he can miraculously return from his Achilles tear next month. If things get even worse for Robert Saleh’s staff, they may be desperate enough to test it!
