Major League Baseball has a busy Tuesday night slate lined up with 10 games getting underway at 7:05 p.m. ET or later on the main DraftKings slate of the night. Four of the 10 games are divisional matchups, including the second game of the series between the Padres and Rockies at Coors Field. As always, it’s worth checking out the hitters who will get a boost from the rarified air in Denver, where the matchup again has the highest over/under of the night by a wide margin, according to DraftKings Sportsbook.
There are a lot of good matchups to attack this Tuesday, but if you end up needing to add a few bargains to the mix to help stretch your salary cap, check out these three bargain plays who have a good chance to return excellent value at affordable salaries.

SP Dane Dunning, Texas Rangers vs. Seattle Mariners, $6,600
Dunning has been solid for the Rangers this season and gets a favorable matchup for his home start on Tuesday. Dunning has gone 2-1 with a 3.91 ERA and a scary 6.21 FIP in his four starts this year. However, he has been able to pick up at least five strikeouts and at least 15 DKFP in three of those four starts and worked at least five innings in each of those games. He has held opponents to a .188 batting average, so far this year even though he has faced tough offenses in the Astros, Tigers and Rays. Dunning has only had one home start and earned 18.8 DKFP in that outing against Houston. He should have an easier matchup against Seattle, who is second in the MLB in K% behind only the Athletics. The Mariners have a .229 team batting average, .303 wOBA and .123 ISO, and they rank in the bottom 10 in the majors in each category despite coming off a three-game set at Coors Field. At under $7,000, Dunning can be a great value if he turns in another solid outing and ends up with 15-to-20 DKFP once again. Additionally, Dunning brings a higher ceiling given the Mariners’ tendency to pile up strikeouts.
SS Masyn Winn, St. Louis Cardinals vs. Arizona Diamondbacks, $2,700
I try to provide variety in my bargains from day to day, but I’m coming back to Winn for the second day in a row since the Cardinals’ young SS is again a great value option from under $3,000. I had Winn in my picks yesterday and he went 1-for-2 with a walk and a stolen base for 12 DKFP. He has averaged 6.7 DKFP per game on the season but 9.0 DKFP per game in his last nine contests. After hitting just .172 in his 37 games last season, the 22-year-old righty has hit .317 in his first 20 games this season with a .357 wOBA and three stolen bases. He and the Cardinals got the win on Monday on a late home run from Nolan Gorman ($4,100) off the bench, and they’ll look to make it two in a row against the Diamondbacks as they face lefty journeyman Logan Allen ($7,000). Allen has the same name as a starter on the Guardians, but this Allen has a 5.70 ERA and 5.48 FIP in his 34 games across the last five seasons. This Allen is not a matchup that needs to be avoided, and Winn brings great power and speed upside at this price point. Until Winn’s salary adjusts to his increased production this season, he’ll continue to be a great salary-saver at shortstop.
OF Heston Kjerstad, Baltimore Orioles at Los Angeles Angels, $2,400
Don’t look now, but the Orioles lineup is about to get even more young power added. Before their Tuesday night matchup with Griffin Canning ($6,800) and the Angels, the team is expected to call up Kjerstad to replace Austin Hays (calf). Kjerstad was ranked as the team’s No. 4 prospect coming into the season, and the Orioles farm system has been and continues to be stacked with top-hitting prospects. Kjerstad got a brief look at the majors last season, hitting .233 with two homers in his 13 games in the majors. The 25-year-old lefty had a pretty quiet spring, but he has been absolutely crushing for the Norfolk Tides. Kjerstad has played just 21 games in Triple-A this season and already has 10 home runs. He has an impressive .395 ISO and .488 wOBA to go with his .349 batting average. It remains to be seen exactly how the Orioles will rotate players in and out of the lineup since they have so many promising young bats, but Kjerstad has been too hot to pass up. He will also be on the strong side of the splits in this matchup since Canning has allowed four home runs to lefties this season while giving up a .468 wOBA. Kjerstad brings huge power potential from under $2,500 and can immediately make a fantasy impact, as an already-loaded Orioles lineup gets another big boost.
