After watching Scottie Scheffler win his second green jacket in three years, the PGA TOUR now heads to Harbour Town Golf Links (par 71, 7,123 yards, POA greens) in Hilton Head, South Carolina, for the RBC Heritage. Ever since this event was added to the annual PGA TOUR schedule in 1969, Harbor Town has been the only course to host the RBC Heritage. Matthew Fitzpatrick defeated Jordan Spieth in a playoff at last year’s edition of this tournament, finishing at -17. After being a full sized PGA TOUR event with a cut since it’s inception, the RBC Heritage is a limited field of only 69 golfers this year and there will be no cut. As one of the PGA TOUR’s eight signature events this season, the RBC Heritage features a purse of $20 million and all of the PGA TOUR’s best players will be competing, except Viktor Hovland, who withdrew after his ugly showing at the Masters.
Harbour Town is a short Pete Dye design that features very small greens, 54 bunkers and water in play on all 18 holes. Of all the courses we have seen on the PGA TOUR so far this season, Harbour Town is the fifth shortest track and it presents the second smallest putting surfaces. Like most Dye creations, having extra distance off-the-tee isn’t necessary at Harbour Town, and most players will elect to keep the driver in their bag on most holes to find the fairway more often. With this venue home to extremely small greens, being in great form with both your irons and as a short game will be essential this week. For three years in a row, the winner of the RBC Heritage has finished the tournament top-10 in both SG: Approach and SG: Around-the-Green. Prioritizing top-notch par-five players is also a wise move at Harbour Town, with each of the last two winners at this par 71 leading their fields in scoring on the par fives.

Tom Kim ($7,400) – After missing the cut by one stroke in his first attempt at Harbour Town last year, Kim should redeem himself this week and is one of the best values available. The 21-year-old has made 7-of-10 cuts this season and is coming off a T30 at the Masters, in which he closed the major with a 6-under 66 on Sunday. Kim gained two more strokes than the entire field during that final round at Augusta National and his 66 was one stroke shy of tying Bryson DeChambeau for the lowest score of the major.
Overall, Kim finished the Masters second in SG: Approach and third in birdies. Looking to build off this impressive performance, Kim brings great upside at an affordable cost. On the DraftKings Sportsbook, the 21-year-old carries +4500 odds to win the RBC Heritage, which are the same odds as Corey Conners—who is nearly $1K more for DFS at $8,300.
Cam Davis ($7,400) – Davis finished T12th at the Masters last week and has carded three top-25 finishes in his last four starts, while collectively gaining strokes with his irons and putter during all three of those finishes. Combine this strong form with Davis’ incredible record at Harbour Town, and the Aussie is an elite value play that can’t be ignored.
Davis has finished T25th, T3rd and T7th at the last three RBC Heritages, giving him an average career finish of 11.7th place at Harbour Town—which, is the best in this field of all the players who have competed at the Dye design more than once. Davis has gained an outstanding 2.03 strokes per round at Harbour Town and has only shot over par once in his 12 career rounds at the par 71.
Sepp Straka ($7,200) – Highlighted by a T3 two years ago, Straka has made 3-of-4 cuts at Harbour Town and returns to the Dye creation in compelling form. After a rocky start to the season, the 30-year-old has made three of his last four cuts, including a pair of T16 finishes, one of which came at the Masters last week.
At Augusta National, Straka finished the major top-12 in SG: Tee-to-Green, SG: Off the Tee and SG: Approach. The talented Austrian has won twice over the last two years and is simply too cheap for his upside.
Adam Schenk ($7,100) – Schenk was excellent at the Masters this past week, carding a T12 finish, while gaining strokes in every major category at Augusta National. Considering this was his debut at the difficult venue, this was a very impressive feat for Schenk who has now made four consecutive cuts—with three of those finishes being top-20 results. The 32-year-old has gained strokes Around the Green at every event during this cut streak and ranks 13th in the metric when we compare this field’s last 24 rounds.
Schenk’s elite short game sets him up well for Harbour Town and he is underpriced at this low price tag. In his last three appearances at the track, Schenk has finished inside the top-35 twice.
