Broner at the height of his career was a popular draw, winning his first 27 professional fights. “The Problem” held stints as WBO super featherweight, WBC lightweight, WBA light welterweight, and WBA welterweight champion. However, he stepped away from fighting following a loss to Manny Pacquiao in 2019. Despite a slew of headlines outside the ring, Broner made a comeback in 2021 and most recently defeated Bill Hutchinson last June.
Cobbs makes his first fight appearance since 2022 when he beat previous light welterweight champion Maurice Hooker. “The Flair” landed three knockdowns en route to the unanimous decision victory. With over 11 years of professional experience, Cobbs once held the WBC-NABF welterweight and junior welterweight titles.
