The Jacksonville Jaguars fell short of the playoffs in 2023 after reaching the Divisional Round in 2022. They went 9-8 to finish second in the AFC South. The formerly disastrous Houston Texans are now the team to beat in the Jaguars’ division, and Jacksonville has their work cut out for them as they head into the 2024 season. They signed former Patriots starter Mac Jones as their backup quarterback this offseason and filled out their receiver cops by signing Gabe Davis out of Buffalo and drafting Brian Thomas Jr. out of LSU.

Biggest offensive NFL Draft additions
The Jaguars used their first pick of the draft to select wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. out of LSU. Thomas trailed Malik Nabers in receiving yards in 2023 but still finished the season with 1,177 yards and a team-high 17 receiving touchdowns. We can expect Thomas to see immediate action in the target rotation this season as the Jaguars continue to build around Trevor Lawrence.
Player most impacted by NFL Draft for fantasy football
Christian Kirk could see his target share impacted by the addition of not only Thomas but free agent Gabe Davis. However, we can expect each of the three receivers to have a solid fantasy outlook this season. Tight end Evan Engram may see a slight downturn in fantasy output now that Lawrence has more consistent targets at WR.
