The Miami Dolphins head into the 2024 season with a strong returning roster. Miami went 11-6 last season and lost to the Bills in the final game of the regular season, costing them the No. 2 seed and the division title. They lost to the Chiefs in the first round of the playoffs.
Tua Tagovailoa will still be throwing to Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill this season, and the Dolphins added veteran receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to the roster, as well. Running backs Raheem Mostert and De’Von Achane remain on the team, and Miami signed tight end Jonnu Smith in the offseason.

The Dolphins used their first round pick to add an edge rusher, but drafted offensive tackle Patrick Paul in the second round and selected running back Jaylen Wright out of Tennessee in the fourth. Wright finished his 2023 season with over 1,000 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns. The Dolphins also selected WR Malik Washington out of Virginia in the sixth round.

Achane and Mostert should still be the clear-cut top two running backs on the team, and we can expect both of them to be consistent fantasy earners. Wright may get used in certain scenarios, and will be an important piece should either RB get injured. In terms of fantasy, Wright was used very little in Tennessee’s passing game and is unlikely to make a major fantasy impact in his rookie season. However, after Achane struggled to stay healthy last season, Wright could play a larger role later in the season.
