Marquise Brown start or sit: Week 11 fantasy football advice

Updated:

By: LTruscott

All season, Marquise Brown has been a solid option for the WR2 or WR3 spot in most fantasy football lineups. Quarterback Kyler Murray’s return last week should have benefitted Brown, but instead, the Arizona Cardinals’ top wide receiver saw his stats take a nose dive.

So can you trust Hollywood Brown in your lineup this week?

Fantasy Football analysis: Cardinals WR Marquise Brown

Brown was targeted just four times last week, with both Michael Wilson and Rondale Moore getting more looks. He came away with just one catch for 28 yards. It was the second week in a row that Brown had less than 30 yards.

I still believe that he’s the best option among Arizona’s wide receivers, but I’d be a little more cautious about how I used him in fantasy lineups this week.

Start or sit in Week 11 PPR leagues?

Brown is still a decent choice for the WR3 or flex spots in most PPR leagues. Yes, his results lately have been disappointing, but we know full well what his ceiling is. The Texans are ranked 21st in scoring against wide receivers.

Start or sit in Week 11 standard leagues?

Similar situation as with PPR leagues. Brown is still worth a flex or WR3 spot in all but the smallest leagues, based solely on his potential for a big game.

Player(s) you would start ahead of Marquise Brown

If you’re seeking more certainty, I would think about players like Courtland Sutton of the Broncos or Nico Collins of the Texans. Both have high upside and more consistent roles in their team’s passing attack.
