This has been a mediocre year for fantasy kickers, as only two are averaging double-digit fantasy points. with Dustin Hopkins and Brandon Aubrey at 10.8 and 10 fantasy points per game respectively. This isn’t exactly out of the norm, but just shows you that no matter how good a kicker is, his fantasy floor and ceiling are not consistently high enough to just feel good about setting and forgetting your kicker.
Now that we are in the colder, windier months, it does help us at least eliminate some games each week. If we take a look at teams that have been giving up consistent fantasy points to kickers, while also being in good weather or domes, we can get a better handle on the position each week. And with six teams on bye this week, you might need to find a new kicker.
