Injuries to Monitor
- Patrick Mahomes † (Knee): Played without a designation in Week 8. Monitor this week’s practice reports.
- Matthew Stafford † (Arm): Sean McVay said he will defer to Stafford on how he is feeling ahead of Sunday. The Rams issue their first injury report of the week Wednesday.
- Jayden Daniels † (Elbow): Played through the elbow injury in Week 8. Monitor this week’s practice reports.
- Deshaun Watson †: Was hurt on a roughing-the-passer play in the first quarter of Week 8 and finished the game. Monitor this week’s practice reports.
- Kyler Murray † (Hamstring): Asked Monday whether the soreness affects his availability, Kevin O’Connell said, “I don’t think we’re there yet.” More information is expected by Thursday’s practice report, and Carson Wentz is next in line.
- Joe Fagnano † (Ankle): Was limited Monday, and Jesse Minter said the undrafted rookie has a chance to play Thursday. Tyler Huntley (toe) did not practice Monday and “probably” won’t play, so Baltimore has not confirmed a starter with Lamar Jackson out.

Brock Purdy ($6,800) — 49ers vs. Raiders
Game environment: 49ers -10, O/U 51.5 (31.5 team total)

Projected DraftKings points: 26.3
San Francisco owns the highest team total on the slate, and Las Vegas ranks 28th against quarterbacks on a blended basis. Purdy has averaged 21.1 DK points across seven starts in 2026, with three games of 22 or more, and he comes off the bye at a lower price than Drake Maye. The receiver room could get healthier, with Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel both eyeing returns Sunday, while Christian McCaffrey’s hamstring is worth tracking this week. The risk is a lopsided score shifting the fourth quarter to the run. He needs 20.4 points to return 3x.
Jared Goff ($6,600) — Lions @ Dolphins
Game environment: Lions -7, O/U 50.5 (27.5 team total)

Goff’s Week 8 dud came against Minnesota, which ranks first against quarterbacks on a blended basis. Before that, he had cleared 19 DK points in five of six games, including 32.8 at Buffalo and a 412-yard game at Carolina. Miami ranks 25th against the position, and the game carries the third-highest total on the Sunday Main slate. He projects fourth overall at the position for $200 less than Purdy, and he needs 19.8 points for 3x.
Patrick Mahomes ($6,100) — Chiefs vs. Jets
Game environment: Chiefs -9.5, O/U 46.5 (27.5 team total)

Projected DraftKings points: 22.2
Mahomes threw for 321 yards and three touchdowns in Denver last week, and Rashee Rice returned from a two-game absence to catch seven passes. He is priced as the QB7 on the Sunday Main slate despite projecting fifth among its quarterbacks, and Kansas City’s 27.5-point team total is 10 points higher than the Jets’. The floor is the concern after back-to-back outings of 11.5 and 7.0 points in Weeks 6 and 7, and a 9.5-point spread could mean a light fourth quarter. He needs 18.3 points for 3x.
