What happened to Alex Caruso? Live injury updates for Thunder vs. Suns on Monday 10/26/26

UPDATE: Caruso will not return.

With 1:34 left in the second quarter of Monday’s game against the Phoenix Suns, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Alex Caruso was replaced by Jaylin Williams. Caruso injured his ankle after Dillon Brooks fell on him after a shot attempt. Caruso is now in the locker room.

The Thunder can’t afford anymore injuries with the recent news that Jalen Williams and Cason Wallace will be out for most of the season. If Caruso is unable to return, Josh Dix and Bennett Stirtz would see more playing time than they were initially slated to get with the Williams and Wallace injuries.

Prior to exiting, Caruso contributed nine points, two rebounds and three assists in nine minutes off the bench.
