We’ll have a nine game slate tonight, tipping off at 7 PM ET between the Timberwolves and the Cavaliers. The Warriors and Nuggets will face off at 10 PM ET to close out the night.
So far, the undefeated teams are the Rockets, Lakers, Thunder, Grizzlies, Timberwolves, Trail Blazers, and Pistons.
The teams who have yet to record a win are the Nets, Bucks, Heat, Pelicans, Warriors, Kings, and Knicks.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening in Pick6 Fantasy Basketball! This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for today’s action.
Davion Mitchell More than 6.5 Assists
Mitchell has been doing plenty of creating for Miami, and seven assists is a reasonable target against this Dallas defense. The Heat have not looked good by any means, but Mitchell is averaging 8.7 APG through three games and just handed out 10 assists in 37 minutes against Charlotte.
The Mavericks have allowed a league-high 31.0 assists per game, giving us an encouraging matchup for a guard already producing quite nicely. We’ll continue monitoring this new-look Heat team to see how Erik Spoelstra tinkers with his lineups and offensive schemes to maximize Giannis Antetokounmpo’s unique impact on the game in a way that hopefully starts leading to some wins. Either way, Mitchell will be an important piece of the puzzle.

Ty Jerome More than 26.5 Points
Jerome has wasted little time taking over Memphis’ offense, scoring 45, 28, and 31 points to open the season. The shot volume is absurd: he’s attempted 25, 22, and 17 field goals, giving him plenty of opportunities to clear 26.5 tonight. Utah primarily played drop coverage in the opener, and Jerome punished them for it with a massive 45 points. The Jazz can’t allow Jerome to go off again, so we’ll see what they change tonight in terms of covering the 29-year-old.
Jerome also scored 31 against Sacramento despite going just 1-for-6 from deep, making all 14 of his free throws to keep the offense rolling. We don’t need another career night here to hit 27 points, but the way he’s been playing, we just might continue seeing something special.
Jerome is averaging 34.7 PPG through three games on 32 MPG.

Jalen Johnson More than 38.5 PRA
We’ll once again lean on Johnson’s ability to stuff the stat sheet. He’s averaging 41.7 PRA so far this season, averaging 21.7 PPG, 10 RPG, and 10 APG through three games. He’s cleared 38.5 PRA twice already. Saturday’s meeting with Houston was particularly productive, with Johnson recording 26 points, nine rebounds, and a whopping 16 assists, with those dimes tying his career-high. Cutting those assists in half would’ve still netted Johnson 43 PRA to comfortably clear the 38.5 bar tonight.
And the best part is that his minutes are still down from last season, averaging only 31.7 due to foul trouble from Game 1. I’m down to grab Johnson at this cheap 38.5 price before the market catches up.
